  • Ha! Funny....rock on

  • elvis no matter how jealous he mite have been of anybody,he would have never gone to anyones house with a gun to shoot them like jerry did back in the seventies, too elvis' house.oh and he was arrested with the gun.now if he didnt go to elvis' house to shoot him, like jerry said, how did they know he had gun in the car, unless he showed it to,uncle versy.later he was stopped, with the gun in the car.now i love jerry's music,he one of the greats, but he aint king, and he missing some screws

  • well once again, jerry being jerry.im ashamed for him, elvis would have never acted that way at fans.thats the reason elvis is bigger today, because people saw threw jerry along time ago.jerrys great talent, but he aint elvis nor the king of rock'n'roll.this is the same arguement as chevy and ford, but only one true king of the hill....chevy and elvis.chevy wins more races world wide in one night than ford wins in yrs.elvis get more visits to graceland in month than jerry sells tickets in a yr

  • 0:09 - 0:12 What did he say? This is awesome.

  • @rockfan363 I think he says "any bitch walking on through beacon can do now"

  • @AuroraBorealisAK what does he mean by beacon? does he mean tree city?

  • @rockfan363 I'm not really sure, lol. Mystery is one of the Killer's beloved traits. I'm not entirely sure that is what he says, thats just what I hear. haha

  • @AuroraBorealisAK I agree. Long live the Killer.

  • @rockfan363 "I'm doing more than any Son of a Bitch walking on two feet can do now."

  • @jaker02 thanks man

  • Today 29 Sep 2011, The Greatest Talent's 76th Birthday. Happy B-day Mr. Lewis!

  • Where was this?? England?

  • @TheDilligan No. He got into enough trouble just on account of his rather young wife. He seemed to be on his best behaviour but, thanks to the newspapers whipping everything up, he still had to cut short his tour.

  • @TheDilligan Sorry. I wasn't sure whether you were thinking of his famous English tour but, if so, all that trouble was in 1958.

  • @izaneerz yeah after listening to this a couple more times.. (after i already commented)... i realized people cheering for his rant... yeah this isn't that the trouble with his underage wife and everything in england...

  • @TheDilligan You can tell by his voice that this was long after the scandal after his married Myra.

  • I believe that pretty much sums up the killer....he's been known to stop if the drummer aint got the right beat and chew him out....course it all depends on Jerry's mood. but almost always he was and is the greatest....just like he says.....

  • YOU TELL 'EM KILLER!!!

  • Great short Movie

  • Get em Jerry Lee!

  • The man has a lot of balls.

  • lol. a classic.. played many a show with several great performers.. always funny when people push them to the edge.. I'd say who ever got him going had it comin'.. lol classic.. Ol Jerry Lee was nicer than I would have been. Ah Ha ha ha ha fuckin ha..

  • If the crowd was calling for "Breathless" as one comment here says, yes, Jerry hates that damned song! Look it up here @ "Jerry Lee Lewis Breathless (Rare)" to hear him tell how he's always hated that song.

  • GODDAMN!!!! I love that man!!!!!!!!!!!

  • to be as ngreat as the killer you have to be a c---t

if you dont like the killer-f--- u

  • "sit your ass down and shut up and enjoy the show, because you are looking at the greatest talent that ever shit through a beat ass." Jerry Lee Lewis ........That might be the greatest quote I have ever heard.

  • @jeremy039 i would have 2 agree lol

  • this is pretty amamzing

  • As much as I love the man's music and the originality he stands for, this clip shows what a complete butthole Jerry Lee can be. There are times you want to hug the guy for all he's done for music and other times you want to beat the hell out of him.

  • LOL! This is VINTAGE Jerry Lee Lewis! He was & is as real as it ever gets. From everything I've ever known about him, he's always been his own man, "Say what you mean, and mean what you say, and the Devil take the hindmost!" That's what most of us have always loved about him, even if we were more timid or "churchified." He's absolutely genuine, a flawed human being (like the rest of us), bold & outrageous, incredibly talented & exciting. So glad he's still standing. Long may he wave!

  • LOL

  • lmao.....

  • It sounds like he is tired of playing Whole Lotta Shakin, cause thats all the fans want. I would get tired of playing the same songs over and over.

  • Jerry Lee at the end of his tether and at a low point in his career..Wasnt this about the time he went lookin for Elvis with a gun?

  • Elvis Presley,Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash. I love them all, they are my heroes!

  • When was this, does anyone know?

  • Berlin 1977

  • @smerlinare HAMBURG, Germany 1977

  • Reading some of the comments...no Jerry was never the Southern Gentleman Elvis was; nor was he the patriot Elvis was (never served his country in Uniform as did Elvis)..talented for sure; but JLL always promoted himself talking of himself in third terms and referring to himself constantly, something Elvis never did. Elvis loved his fans far more than himself; probably one reason JLL is here and Elvis isnt. btaylor

  • @SouthernBelleSmiles Your words prove Jerry Lee Lewis is greater than Elvis. Of course he is.

  • @qwer4o You're a moron!!!!!

  • @qwer4o

i think you missed the point, but there is room in the world for fans of both the Killer and The King! The only musician to do more in less time that lasted beyond their deaths than Elvis did was the late Great Hank Williams.....

  • @SouthernBelleSmiles That was well written! I agree with you. Elvis was a fantastic person until the drugs hit him too much.

  • love it

  • Yes, Elvis did have his moments on stage. But he never lashed out at the people that were paying his bills! That's what I meant. I know about Jerry Lee and love his early sun stuff but he was a dick head at times!

  • somebody is screaming for 'breathless' at the very beginning of this clip; jerry hates this song, and mostly refuses to perform it

  • That is why he is Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis will always be known as the KING! Could you ever imagine Elvis talking to his fans like that. No way man!

  • Precisely, he is JERRY LEE LEWIS and not Elvis talking about karate and denying he is strung out. Different styles, to be sure, but Elvis had his moments on stage, too.

  • @dannyvanore Jerry Lee is the true king.

  • Nut case

  • i have seen and heard hin kick off a time or 2 - once in Ramsgate ( 90% sure) the crowd boo'd when he started to show his talents on violin - Jerry Lee told them in no uncertain terms to go leave the theatre and ask for thier money back -

Lesson - dont fool around with a genius !!!

  • Jerry's never played Ramsgate, you're probably thinking of Chatham 1972 (I have the audio where he's playing violin & guitar!).

  • well i was at the Chatham gig - i still got the ticket stubbs - i seem to remember Ramsgate if not - i rember heading that way with a few of my pals at the time

    cheers

    Dave

  • Dave, he actually did TWO shows in Chatham (May 1st 1972), though he DID come to Margate a few years later in 1978 (November 9th) for 2 shows. He certainly didn't play violin at these though. But he's definitely never played in Ramsgate....

  • Peter

i wrote you to explain !

but for folks here - it must have been Chatham for even though my memory is bad i clearly remember the violin incident.

i also remember him saying about Danny Coffey being English which caused a titter amongst the knowing !

    cheers

    Dave

  • YOU ARE RIGHT!!! Ya dont fuck with the "Killer"! Danny O'Donnell

  • you know what years??

  • Somebody must have been fucking with him, too much! Ha..he has the guts to say whats on his mind! He was pissed..lol..Danny O'Donnell

  • "Pissed" means drunk in the UK ("pissed off" means angry), though he was probably both! : )

  • Yep! LOL!! He was...:)

  • i can't believe it. i finally got to hear 'shit through a meat ass'. nick tosches didn't make it up after all

  • My thoughts exactly!

  • When European audiences whistle like that, does that mean they are voicing disapproval?

  • all in all it was a good concert

  • Would love to hear the whole show. Thanks for posting!

  • @robsham

I got the whole show :) Contact me in privat message and i send you :)

  • @LJ979695 send me the whole show please. bobbyh32097@yahoo.com

  • yeah

  • interesting...

  • Hahahaaaaa, awesome!

  • Where and when was this recorded?

  • He is not a crowd-pleaser.

  • Obviously you don't hear the crowd cheering....

  • In my oppinion the mood changes to hostility for many in the crowd when he talk abaot their "f*****' money".

  • about

  • yeah, and changes back when he starts playing at the end...

  • Wow
