I track 100% with Gen. Boykin's concerns except for the part about US Code Title 42, Chapter 6A, item 5210 (?) governing the creation of a Ready Reserve Corps. If I read it correctly, it establishes the procedure for presidential appointment and senatorial confirmation of officers in the US Public Health Service who's duties are clearly spelled out in other portions of the law and is limited to public health. Isn't this the same procedure followed for commissioned officers of DOD?

It is not only Federal elections, but especially STATE and County elected civil servants that we must elect. These "lesser magistrates" are LEGAL representatives charged with protecting the citizens under their jurisdictions. This kind of Nullification has been done with the RealID Act and some anti-gun legislation.

I've read tons of articles where economists are saying at this point in time raising taxes would actually help the economy. The tax cuts are government spending and they haven't done much. They've kept a few million jobs which is good but in the long run we'd tack a trillion away from the deficit or could create a larger stimulus plan.

I track 100% with Gen. Boykin's concerns except for the part about US Code Title 42, Chapter 6A, item 5210 (?) governing the creation of a Ready Reserve Corps. If I read it correctly, it establishes the procedure for presidential appointment and senatorial confirmation of officers in the US Public Health Service who's duties are clearly spelled out in other portions of the law and is limited to public health. Isn't this the same procedure followed for commissioned officers of DOD?

Today the richest 74 individuals in this country control as much wealth as the bottom 19% of the nation's wage earners. I guarantee you that the bottom 19% contributes more (many of them are veterans to boot). Some redistribution from the idle stock holders and financial speculators to the people who actually produce goods and services of value would be not only healthy but just.

It is not only Federal elections, but especially STATE and County elected civil servants that we must elect. These "lesser magistrates" are LEGAL representatives charged with protecting the citizens under their jurisdictions. They have the AUTHORITY (and responsibility) to stand up to the Federal government when ILLEGAL (un Constitutional) legislation or executive action comes against us. @breedsauce101 Another thing is Eisenhower taxed the shit ouf of the top all the way to 91 percent then kenendy slashed it in half. I've read tons of articles where economists are saying at this point in time raising taxes would actually help the economy. The tax cuts are government spending and they haven't done much. They've kept a few million jobs which is good but in the long run we'd tack a trillion away from the deficit or could create a larger stimulus plan.
