Doing a backdash beforehand is recommended to make sure you are close enough to the wall to do the wall jump, and not just a jump toward the wall. Then you'll have to cc your way out of trouble, especially against the wall where you're trapped. It eliminates accidents, agree?

i agree...Im just sayin that it can be done without the "backdash"...When ppl are right next to the wall,they will just press b,b like crazy and thats useless...But yeah, if ur far away from the wall then b,b,u/b it is

Yeah that is true, Tekken 6 has changed a fair bit both for frame data and move input. Hwoarang has changed a fair bit in reference to input i.e. During Left Flamingo, 33f~ is now 3f~, and King has changed in reference to frame data, i.e. f+3, 1 no longer connects for King.
