the girl dies at the end, if you keep watching till after the helicopter flies over the cliff (idk if it happens b4 or after the credits roll) a shot comes up of the crashed helicopter with a french air control saying they need help, then it snaps to a shot of infected running towards teh eiffle tower..... the girl kid and black pilot are infected and they brought it to the rest of europe

I just think28 weeks is kind of cheap, obviously it had a higher budget but thats not what I mean, to me it felt more like a mainstream film, a blockbuster, a regular-ish horror film. While 28 days was really fucking mind blowing, not relying so much on cheap or cliched scares, and using more cinematic techniques and great acting to achieve that amazing desolate, washed out, post-apocalyptic feeling. I'm not saying 28 months is bad, I just don't like hollywood-style that much
