  • Albania wasoriginally BULGARIAN!!!

  • I suggest you look for the Thraco-Boharic "Biblia Bessika" - it is the original one. Instead of Grteek and Latin copy.

  • Perhaps a Christian here can counsel Humbler25 as to the scripture he's violating. He continually trolls videos, arguing, name-calling, judging, etc... He thinks he's not sinning, so he's not repenting, & just keeps repeating the same sins over & over. He thinks as a Christian, he can pick & choose which teachings of Jesus he can follow, & ignore others.

  • @TheDarvus What... your a moron and your getting thicker by the day. That's not a very esteemed way in which to view yourself, but hey, if the shoe fits... and in this case it fits you pretty well. LOL

  • @TheDarvus Higher Critical Scholarship confirms Paul as the author. You lose! We know these people existed... you can deny it all you want, but once you examine the evidence... you'll come around.

  • Greek, the language of our early ancestors? What does she mean, exactly, everybody is decended from some ancient Greeks? Why not Latin, the language of our early ancestors?

  • @ChristianScholarship I have no Idea what you are trying to assume.

  • Just because they are old does not mean they are correct. Especially if they came out of the RCC archives. Taking in the fact the RCC is 90% pagan most likely any manuscripts they make public will only support they view point for it was them that try to destroy all out side scrips that did not match theirs.

Did Not the Church soak up the Roman Empire and become the Roman Catholic Church?

  • Doubtful and deniable piece of work personally created for benefit of certain parties would you say? Your faith depends on this. Translating peoples name into that of the superior race at the time.

  • If the New Testament is supposedly an accurate eyewitness account than why don't we know the exact dates of Jesus' death or birthday? Did they forget to look at a calendar?

  • Actually, you're right. But the calendar is in Leviticus 23... (i.e. Old Testament) so most modern day Christians fail to look at it.... HOWEVER, the timing of BOTH his Death and Birth are not only recorded in the Gospels but also in the Prophetic teachings of the Law.

If G-d makes an appointment He is sure to keep it! Lev 23 is His Yearly planner at a glance! He would "Tabernacle with us" (Born on the feast of Tabernacles) & be slain at Passover and rise again on the feast of First fruits.

  • I said exact dates. The Hebrews have been keeping a calendar for the last 6000 years & they have days on them with numbers. Why don't we know the "exact" dates of Jesus' birth & death?

  • okay, so I ran out of room :

    Born: 15 Tishrey

Died: 14 Nisan / Aviv (PS: Thursday)

    Rose: 17 Nisan (Firstfruits)

(again who cares about what Julian dates they correspond to-- if Messiah matters to you at all, then you only need G-d's calendar. :-)

  • Synoptic Gospels hold that the Last Supper took place on the first night of Passover, which is defined in the Torah as occurring after the daylight of the 14th of Nisan (Lev 23:5-6), however the Gospel of John likely places the crucifixion itself on the 14th of Nisan(19:14, 19:31, 19:42).[15]

    So which is it?

  • The crucifixion took place on the 14th. That year, knowing He would not be around to keep the feast, Messiah celebrated it a day early (Nisan 13 = "L-rd's Supper) as was customarily acceptable if for some reason one could not keep it on the 14th. (PS: neither would He be available for the 2nd passover then next month)

  • the "last supper actually took place on the 13th (because Messiah knew beforehand that He would be arrested, tried and killed at the appointed times on the 14th of Nisan.

  • According to which scriptures are you deriving your information from & what was the year again?

  • This was acceptable if for some reason a person was unable to fulfill the passover on the 14th and also unable to do it on the "second Passover" (He would have been dead & glorified by then.)

  • However, in order to determine the Gregorian date of Jesus' death, one needs to know the year, because the 15th of Nisan corresponding to one of the first two full moons after Vernal Equinox can occur on any date in late March or April in the western calendar.

Why don't we know the year?? So we actually do NOT know when he was born or when he died b/c the bible was written post facto by people who were not eyewitnesses. The bible is written in 3rd person.

  • I have had many good talks with a scholar in our group trying to pin down the year... if we become satisfied mutually with one answer I will let you know.

He suggests 27 AD (including the 4-6 yrs the Gregorian and Julian calendars are off from one another) based on the events in the gospels and the timeline in Daniel 9. It remains to find an accurate Julian-Hebrew calendar of the time for comparison. :-)

  • Many other books are written in the 3rd person and yet we do not discount them as sources of intelligent information. If the author has someone write as he or she dictates we do not say that that person is not the author. Because the True G-d is the Author of the Book, and has been a perfect eyewitness, and is a reveal-er of secrets, should we not also trust that He wrote it through reliable hands? and if there be even ONE prophecy that was proven incorrect I agree that we ignore it in total!

  • "Many other books are written in the 3rd person and yet we do not discount them as sources of intelligent information. If the author has someone write as he or she dictates we do not say that that person is not the author."

This is true but than again the person writing it is not claiming that the creator of a billion billion galaxies is the author & you would therefore be more inclined to believe it. The more outstanding the claim is the more outstanding the evidence need be.

  • that looks like syriac, not greek. Is this guy really an expert?

  • YOU ARE JUST STUPID SHUT UP

  • personal attacks are usally are result of loosing the dabate. Thank you. If you want to win please state information not pointless accusations. I can can read greek, hebrew and greek.

  • but sometimes we have trouble with with english ... no? lol me too.

  • they should know that the new testament couldn´t have been written in greek, yet they keep on with the fables! interesting nonetheless!

  • evidence?

  • evidence? Simple logic...make use of it!

  • why not exactly?

  • And why is that?

  • Greek was the equivalent of Latin today. The language of Scholars, businessmen and politicians... since all of the LEGIT apostles were HEBREWS and only spoke an aramaic dialect it would be ludicrous if they would write in a language which they never used. They weren't educated with the rich and were still TRADITIONALLY raised. Next to it, the hebrews HATED the oppressors and shunned their ways and culture!!!!!

  • You have no evidence of this whatsoever. If the early Christians intended to reach a wide audience, they would have written in Greek. Even the most secular recognize this.

Further, if you actually read the Greek, much of it is very "simple." John, for example, writes like someone who is thinking in Hebrew and writing in Greek.

You are not using "logic" to come to your conclusion. You're picking random pieces of misinformation and extrapolating inaccurate facts.

  • If I had no evidence I would not speak nor write anything of the stated FACTS. I am not like most who go with heresay! Don't box me in do your own research and make use of simplicity in truth! Much of the truth about these times have been romanticized but studying the historical records will reveal a totally different time. If the romans and greeks loved the house of Yaaqub so much they wouldnt have sacked Yahrushalayim nor hellenisized all hebrew names FACT!

  • The Gospels quote Jesus speaking scriptures from the OT in Greek and if you translate what he said back in Hebrew he would was quoted the scripture wrong Plus if Jesus was to quote the OT in Greek the people around would wonder why he spoke the scripture wrong.

  • The churches to whom it was sent and circulated amongst may have translated it into Greek as early as possible to facilitate new converts but it is nearly impossible that all the apostles wrote in Greek. There are numerous textual evidences --especially in the Gospels that compel some to trust that these books were in fact written in Hebrew (not Aramaic either). I can go over these at length but I don't have enough characters left. Send me an you -tube email.

  • And finally, yes, the "Hebrews" did dislike the culture of the Romans, but you have spent any time reading any of Paul's letters?

Paul argues many times that gentiles are to be included in the Kingdom. I mean, look at the entire book of Romans. He's not writing to Jews there. Believers were (are) supposed to be both a part of culture and not a part of culture. As such, it would be ludicrous to think that he Didn't write in Greek.

John uses similar "world" language to include gentiles, etc.

  • Hmm, "have you," not "you have" in that first sentence...

  • Gentiles are only included if they are Grafted in to Israel-- Please do not boast against the branches.

    Viva la Torah!

  • What type of Greek was the original new testament written in?

  • originally it was written in Hebrew and shortly thereafter translated into the Greek we have now. A mixture of translators - so a mixture of education levels in Greek.

  • @924142707

    Koine Greek.

  • The apostles were Hebrews speaking and Aramaic dialect. However, In order to reach an audience outside of the Jewish community (which from Paul's writings was clearly the case) Greek was the language of choice. Since a huge emphasis is placed on reaching gentiles and Jews alike in the new testament then whether or not these traditionally Jewish men preferred Hebrew it would have been contradictory to Jesus' message to use it over Greek. Christ said "To the Jew first, and then the Gentile".

  • @YahSedQanu uhm...It was written in Koine Greek, there bright one! Please go back to school and get an education!!!!!!!!!!

  • @shaolinschool2010 You think you are smart right? mr smartipants you are actually telling me: please go back to get re indoctrinated. there is one way to believe and that is the way of the popes and the institutes who teach us how to think and WOYE when you dare to deviate from that even though you are the hebrew by blood. Go back to where you came from dummie. I am free and I will continue to walk to freedom away from mindspells and indoctrinated fools like yourself.

  • @YahSedQanu I am a dummy ok there hotshot. You are as about as ignorant as they come....Were you raised in a barn? LOL.....I am about to receive a degree from a highly accredited University so I don't think I am the dummy and also I have spent the last four years of my life studying religion in all of its forms so don't call me stupid at least I can back up what I say which does not say much for you, so like I said go back and get an education.

  • Very cool. Loved it!
