  • Emotional confluence. Reminds me of sitting upon the cliff tops seeing the colorado and green rivers come together.

  • Isaiah 52: 7(L) How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news,

who publishes peace,(M) who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns."

    8The voice of(N) your watchmen—they lift up their voice; together they sing for joy;

    (O) for eye to eye they see the return of the LORD to Zion.

  • Absolutely Brilliant!

  • your videos never cease to amaze me. your brilliance at capturing truth, fear, hope, dispair, and even life itself is astounding. You have a gift, use it well.

  • Whew- that's extreeemely high praise! I thank you and hope to one day live up to it!

  • wow, amazing. You were making videos as powerful as this back in September! Your use of imagery and music is amazing, this belongs in a series with Legacy! You're a real artist!

  • You know, sometimes all I can do is just sit here and grin like a fool, practically textless, when reading your comments. You are ever so flattering and I love you to bits!

  • I would call this wonderful video "The Edge of Reason." It seems to almost make sense, but just when it starts to come clear, understanding slips away elusively in a cloud of distractions and non-sequiturs. Like life itself, neh?

You're a magician, Sadie. Truly you are.

  • And you are extremely kind! Thank you.

  • An excillent video, VERY well done. I would call it,

    Prospective

  • Thank you :)

  • the vid is about 5 months old now. so what would be your own title now?

  • Too many good ones to choose from, so I think I'd leave it be.

  • I dont have a comment...But it was very beutiful...Ok I guess that was a comment...and I hope you let spawn ride on the inside of the car sometimes, that looks dangerous...

  • LOL yes, sometimes.

  • Sadie, I forgot something: The MUSIC(!) is so powerful, it' really well chosen. And last but not least, I love "your moment" at 4:32.

  • Whew Diana you are blowing me away here with these comments. THANK YOU, to say the least! I don't know Rainer Maria Rilke but love what you've quoted enough to do some research for sure. Love your title and again thank you, sincerely!

  • Wow this is a very meaningful video, jus feels like it is taking you somewhere else! The video jus feels like its a force, total energy in it! Can definately feel all the work and thought that went into it, it's brilliant and has a totally unpretentious but very artistic inspired feel! So many different things i think you could read into this, is there any meaning that you intended people to take from it Sadie??

  • Crufts my friend! Thanks so much for watching, and for such kind words! As for the meaning, I did have my own but wanted everyone to have their own take on it, even right down to the title. It has been fascinating reading what people took from this.

  • Sadie, you created a wonderful meaningful video, I'm searching for words... :)

Do you know "Rainer Maria Rilke"? (it's an austrian poet )

"Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love."

    I love this so much!

Oh, my chosen title is: "Sometimes hoping isn't enough"

  • I had to watch this one again.

    Favorited and 5 stars!

  • Thank you thank you! XoXo

  • Holy f-stop, Supergirl!

You're getting really good at this video making thing!

Really enjoyed it. Great great job.

  • SilentBoy! I LOVE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!

  • I had an extremely bad hangover today. I had! As i watched this piece, all tension lost its grip on me, it was eradicated by a vision just too powerful for the lingering toxins to keep their hold, as wave after wave of wonder swept over them, brushing them out of sight. What an artist you are.

  • Hey Lloyd lookit this- your last hangover recorded here! Woo hoo!

  • This was really powerful. I especially loved the red and black striped bug struggling through the flowers in the middle of the video. What type of bug is that? I know that's not the point but I thought I'd ask. Great work! :-)

  • That is a blister beetle :)

    Thank you!

  • Blueathena sent me your way. Your work is amazing.

  • Big thanks to her!

And thank you for watching and leaving such a kind comment.

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • Thanks very much :)

  • i like it!

  • I'm very glad you do! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

  • so beautiful, you are wow I can't even put it into words lol, you're a master mind, and you have such amazing talents, this movie should win an award lol. I love it it really does make you think we have it so good but time goes by, there can be corruption and it all leads to the worst so quickly and yet those of us who do have it well off dont realize it and we don't take the time for those who mean so much to us.

  • If anyone is a mastermind, it's the person who just wrote that comment. AWESOME. Very well said! Your age simply cannot be correct on your profile. Such wisdom! I thank you once again for your kind words :)

  • "The Space Between Life & Death" - Finally, after all this time, this title feels right.

  • LOVE it! Wow, it's amazing how many different takes this video can have according to the title given it. Thanks for coming back with your title!

  • 260th rating, and my title is: "Kindred Bond Through Shifting Sands"

  • THAT TITLE SHOULD WIN AN AWARD!

  • Hey great movie. what a beautiful place!! Also I like the profound ending about the badness of humanity, but there is also a lot of goodness, courage and beauty in the human race too and we should all try to recognise that more!!

  • Excellent observations, Julian! Thank you :)

  • Hey Sadie, so kind of you to reply to my comment not many people do that. Thanks!!

  • My title is " the long walk through yesterday's dreams."

  • WHOAH. Excellent, poignant title.

  • That was so cool. Damn, you are creative, girl!!!

  • Ken! Good to see ya again :)

    And thanks most muchly !

  • Excellent filemaking, editing, retouching and music!!!

  • Thanks, Darwim!

  • I don't know what your intention was with this piece, but I saw the beauty of nature contrasted with the ugliness that humanity sometimes brings to this world.

Maybe I should watch it a few more times.

  • I'm flattered you stopped in for a peek! Excellent analogy :)

  • You're a film-maker

  • You flatter me! All I know is this is a wonderful medium. I'm having fun with it :)

  • "We Walk the Line Between Summer and Fall" or "We Walk the Line Between Life and Death" Those are my titles. This was beautiful, Sadie. You make me wanna be more patient. :)

  • Wow very good- the second especially. Thanks Sarah darlin. "You make me wanna be more patient" is a mindblower to me. I feel flattered and intrigued and impressed at the same time.

  • What a creative video with a beautiful musical score.

  • Thank you very kindly :)

  • I am sooooooo very glad that I subscribed.

  • Thanks, Johnny! I bet I'm gladder than you :)

  • Me grins a little & says nope,nope & a nope.:)But thank you.

  • Beautiful vid all around. Provokes lots of thought, and brings peace at the same time. Though I wasn't too wild about the constant green/blue filter, I loved the overall impact of it. I thought "Time" or "Sands of Time" throughout, so...

ARE YOU TAUNTING ME WITH THE BLACK AND RED BUG?!? *Glares* I still don't feel guilty in the least... That oil beetle was the only one in my entire Zoo class.

  • Great titles :)

I was not taunting you in the least, although the beetle did give me a message to give to you: "I know what you did last summer". Could he have been referring to the bug genocide you committed? Hm, very curious indeed.

  • Great stuff! You make everyone else look bad. You go girl.

  • You're too kind! Really. Nobody could ever make YOU look bad, that's for sure.

  • WOW !

  • You're up to four stars :)

Do you know, i think ive commented more on this vid than all the others i've watched put together lol.

  • Oh my gosh it IS back to four stars, back to it's pre-raterhater state! And you know who I've got to thank for that!

    *Throws roses at sainter*

  • This was amazing, Sadie! Wonderful editing, great images!

  • Thank you Minnie!

  • While i was here. *click* :)

  • We are going to have to put gold stars on your Comment King crown. Is there a category on YouTube for best ratER ? *Grins*

  • Starry Starry Night. Did I mention I really like this video? I thought about "Trepidation" but, no. It needs something more subtle. Still pondering.

  • Did I mention that I firmly believe you hung the moon?

Trepidation definitely captures the essence of this. Definitely. Rhythm you never cease to amaze.

  • This reminds me for some reason of "It's a Wonderful Life". I feel like we should sing "Buffalo Girls Won't You Come Out Tonight".

  • I've got a great title for this "Man goes for walk on beach whilst changing shoes, pours a drink before looking at insects and rock climbing"... ok, so not a very snappy title but I think it sums things up ;) but seriously, very good vid

  • Hello Steve :) Hey if that's the way you see it then it's a perfect title! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. And it's nice to meet you!

  • Awesome vid Sadie!! I am ashamed to post anything after this! This is the third video I've watched today. I just got my own computer set up yeah!!!

5 stars of course...anyone rating any less should quit "Hating" XXXOOO

  • My Sherryberry! Ahhhhh so good to see you online again. My day is complete now! And thank you for what you said about the video. Don't you dare be ashamed of a thing- you're doing fantastic! Fantastic, you hear me? Congrats on FINALLY having your own computer. Yaaay! Freedom! Love you love you love you! X0X0

  • Very nice video. Added to my favs and titled "needed peace" very groovy. Peace

  • Thank you, Melvin, for the kind words and the honor of being favorited!

  • That was a very thought provoking video. Very nicely done.

  • Thank you!

  • Night and daaaay you are the oneeee *click*

Only yooou beneath the moon or under the suuun

Whether near to me or faaaar (hello Greggy *click*)

it's no matter darling where you are

    i think of yooou

    Night and daaay *sob*

  • Awww what a lovely song! I especially like the clicky parts- they're my favorite!

    Smooches gracias!

  • Heh, back for more starry activity. Still thinking about a name. Can't believe I forgot to favorite this the other day. Done now though. I love it, you too.

  • Thank you! I think we're getting one up on them! Progress woo hoooo! And I'm extremely honored to share the company of your favorites! Love you, too!

  • *taps on the clicky button with a pencil, looking pensive* how do you not get the video pixelation/distortion I seem to get when I upload? The vid quality is so nice.

  • Are you using Windows Movie Maker? When I save it for YouTube in WMM, I choose "High quality/small video". Still, sometimes YouTube compresses it to bits and it comes out pixelated, but I've found saving in this setting helps a great deal. I also save in WMA format.

  • Well I am using Adobe premiere for some stuff and windows movie maker, I seem to have some ram issues >.> I may have to pay more attention to the file saving thingies though :) oh, and *click*

  • Hey if you can navigate Adobe Premiere, I'm impressed! I had it for a while and I just don't understand the layout AT ALL. Couldn't do a darn thing with it. Ram is cheap! And easy to install. We've got to order you some! Actually I should buy you a stick of ram for all of your starry efforts. Care to email me your computer specs?

  • lol no need hon! I am actually using my lesser computer while I find the time to get my better one fixed then looooooooook out! But yeah adobe is pretty cumbersome but has some features that I really ant to sink my teeth in with a decent team of gerbils powering my computer.

  • Title: The latest vid r3av put in his favs. ;-) Sadie you are amazing!

  • Aw r3av that makes my whole week! Thank you so much!

  • Great use of music and imagery.

  • My new friend! Much obliged, Bob :)

  • Wow! You have an amazing creative talent and I am in awe...so much so I cannot think of anything else to say...uummm...5*'s! Good Job!

  • *Happy dancin*

Yaaaaaay! She likes it! She likes it, everybody!

    Domo ari goto!

  • *yawns with a coffee in hand* Morning Ralph! *click*

  • LOL!!

  • My critique?; too many bugs, not enough you! ;) actually I find this very soothing for some reason, you have a real talent for this!

  • Luis! I've missed you! Thanks for the sweet words and the appearance! You've gotta show your cyberface more often :)

  • Wow!..real artsy..I like it !..

  • Dahhhhling *click*... i've forgotten what i was going to say tehehe. I'll be back when i remember...

  • LOL thanks greggy!

  • You musta been a beautiful baaby...

You musta been a beautiful child...*click*

    when you de dadadede....

  • (and again)

    Love that song!

  • I agree Sharon. Even if the little buggers ARE all around, disabling the little red stars thing takes away the pleasure of rating a great piece of work but i know Sadie woudnt disable it anyway :) *click*

  • You're right of course.

And I love you for clicking yet again!

  • Bleh, thats no good. :( It seems to me that the viewer is king on YouTube, even when their intentions are obviously malicious. That makes me a sad panda.

  • It is obvious to me that the rater haters are unemployed..grrr...darn job getting in the way of my commenting/rating frenzy.

  • I'm sorry :( They are pesky lil buggers for sure. But I'll not forget the effort you made! Nevernever! And it would probably be only one star without you! Next video I'll let you and sainter rate, then disable the ratings- how's that sound?

  • I see something else every time I watch this.

This time the title shall be "Fear for a child's future".

  • Aha! Bravo!

  • Wow another good one! I'm so glad I didn't title this myself.

  • cool effects and ants.

  • Beautiful

  • "Of the Simple Pleasures"

I want to play with the ants! Those are some biggo ones!

  • LOL and what would you play? Twister? Mouse Trap?

    I'll send some over :)

  • I could have sworn on my life that i commented on this video. but maybe it "errored" on me. i just wanted you to know i thought this was brilliant, and it left me speechless. i love a video that envokes a mood. brilliant Sadie...a standing ovation.

  • Thanks for coming back to try again. What a compliment! I'm so glad you enjoyed this- thank you, sincerely.

  • Hold on...i'm just going to put another dart into this monkey. There! Now...someone's stolen my hippopotamus and now i'm lost! *sob* Can someone please tell me how to get to the...OOOOOH look at all those lovely red stars *click* how to get to the Nile basin? My boyfriend will be furious...

  • You and SainterTalk and eweforick are quite the anti raterhater gang! Thank you so much! LOL-ed at "oooh look at those lovely red stars". You're too much! HUGS HUGS HUGS HUGS SMOOCH!

  • STELLAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH(5 stars)HHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Swoonage. Most major.

  • *strolls by and casually leans on the ratings button*

  • lol

  • Ok I'm thinking a cyber monument AND some sort of anthem. You know the music they play when the president enters the room? You need your own anthem.

    I adore you!

  • Nicely done. I really liked the bizzare color scheme and the music really gave it sentiment.

  • Thank you Steve :)

  • I dont usually choose such artsy material for my playlists. But this one made the grade.

    Best of YouTube this week.

  • I love being an exception- thank you!

  • Good job :)

  • Thank you :)

What a beautiful, melodic name you have.

    "Kiora". Love it.

  • BOOOOOOOOOINNNGGG! Rating pounce! Be back later!

  • Have I told you lately how fantabulous you are?

I'm erecting a cyber-monument in your honor this very moment.

  • i would love to climb inside your brain and see what's going on in there. this was very cool.

  • Climb on in! I could use the company :)

    And thank you.

  • Your artistic heart is really beginning to shine. I am very proud that you are a "homegirl"--homegirl. You have inspired me!

  • Much appreciated, cinaferret! And likewise :)

  • Just stopping by for another rating :) And, yep, I still love it. And, as for the anime porm, I admit I haven't seen any, I have not led a complete life...yet.

  • THANK YOU for helping undo the rater-haters work!

LOL I bet your life could be complete without animation of any kind.

  • Some cuts are a bit choppy but no chance that could ruin the clip. It's something to be proud of. :)

  • Hey F squared! Thanks for the input. If only I could get my Ulead program up and running. Would be much better than WMM.

  • get out of my head! no wait, you can stay.

  • Can I? Oh thank you. I promise I won't make a mess. It's rather nice in your head. You keep it so tidy! But what's behind that curtain...

Oh you sick man. You sick sick man.

Flintstone pornography is WRONG, you hear me? WRONG!

  • ok, i'll throw out the stuff with dino but the betty and wilma action stays put.

  • I guess I have to compromise. At least I don't have to call those cartoon animal advocates on you. They can get pretty rowdy.

  • you do a very good job editing. the music was sad. i hate the news. your videos are very thought provoking. good job, five stars

  • Thank you Tricia!

  • I just got in from WWE Unforgiven in Toronto so I will skip my usual blurbetty blah blah and just say I liked it! I liked it ALOT!!! Winkeroo ;)

  • Glad you liked it! I'm glad A LOT!

  • Yaaaaaaaaay! You TALKED again!

I'm going to try harder and harder to make better videos so you keep posting more words :)

    And thanks!

  • Wow. This video is simply stunning and the best yet on YouTube. It shows the raw beauty of the American Southwest which can be both isolating and insulating. Yet, as the fan shows, the rest of the world evolves and revolves, taking us down unpleasant paths. 5+ stars for you. My title for this video is "No Escape".

  • "Isolating and insulating"- perfect! You must speak from experience to be able to describe it so aptly. Very perceptive observations, and I'm deeply flattered by your kind words. Another great title as well.

    Many thanks!

  • I had almost forgotten why you are one of my favorites. thanks for reminding me. very provocative, and well represented, and artsy to boot. <3

    You've touched me.

  • Wow thank you most muchly!

  • THERE YOU GO!

  • possibly the best composed shot i've seen on here (utube) is here at 39sec.mark..ice glass being filled/flowers/mt.background/brokenchair/paintfading table..really beautiful shot.. --me knewz ya had it in ya--

  • I second that but what puts the whole vid into context is the glassy distorted shots of Sadie near the end. The creme de la creme.

  • I bet you can guess what was being poured into said glass ;)

And I'm SO glad to hear you describe the "glassy distorted" shots that way. Glassy and slightly distorted was precisely what I was trying to accomplish there, but I didn't exactly have a "glassy distorted" effect to apply, so it took a bit of figuring. Anyway it made me really grin to read your description, and that's why :)

  • hahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahahah

    RED BULL!! HAHAHAHA fantastic!

  • Yeppers! I knew you'd get it!

  • I feel like Pavarotti just told me I sang a good song.

THANK YOU, Eli. You know how much your opinion means to me. Or if you don't, you should.

  • I don't have words, which is strange, coming from me...I should drop you an email, in the past 72 hours, I've had to go back across the country, now I'm lacking a computer for even longer...

  • Oh no! You have to go back across the country?

Please DO email! Maybe I can chat your ear off on the road- help the time pass? Why do you have to-

ah nevermind it here- please DO email me.

    Hope you're ok.

    BIG HUGS.

    HUGE HUGS.

  • This is an excellent video Sadie and I agree this could easily be featured. I'm still kind of pondering on a title. It seems to me to express some of your fears about the pressures, dangers and influences the outside world puts on your son. Maybe I'm completely off about that, but that was my initial impression. I'm going to have to let this simmer some more. Very good job to make me want to think harder about it. Yeah the music worked very well.

  • I messaged you about this but want to show my gratitude here as well :) High praise from someone whose brain I really admire!

  • Thank you so much Sadie. You make me blush lol.

  • Sadie, this was your best piece yet! It was flawless from beginning to end. I chose to name the video "Desolate". It was visually appealing, and the music choice was impeccable. Great vid!

  • Hey thanks a bunch! I worked extra hard on this video, so I really appreciate you saying so.

  • A very nice video.

  • Thank you Mr. Bear :)

  • Darling just popped by to add another 5 stars. Sainter has said it all for me tehehe.

    Bye bye

    Gregory Boner (the invincible)

  • Ohhhh THANK YOU Greggy! S.CommentSystem did the same thing since the raterhaters came by :)
