  • I saw Luka for the first time when I went to see the reunion of Planxty in '04 in London. He supported them. He spoke a few words about the little girl of this song and we were all listening and he explained how her dad had brought her to this beach for the first time for a walk and she, out of the blue, turned and said "Thanks for bringing me here" .. and there was more than me with a tear in their eye, I can tell you. And then he sang like an angel, as he does here. A very special man.
