@sugarhitman haha!! obviously you have not read hadith and the QURAN, chapter 59 called surah al-hashr which means EXILE and talks about the jews being EXILED before being punished after the 3rd time of trechery, Also chapter 33 Al-Ahzab 'the clans' which also refers to this and there punishment , oh and the name of the person who was appointed to decide the punishment was called sa'd ibn mu'adh according to hadith narrated by Ibn Khaldun, so dont tel me im lying, dont know what u bin reading :S

@sugarhitman Ibn Ishaq and ibn hisham who was also involved in his book was the earliest (but one of the worse) biographers of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the view is shared across the board in the muslim society no muslims quote his narrations as NON of the other narrators such as bukhari and muslim have recorded any of the things he said and there for is not a reliable source.

@sugarhitman The verse actually talks about "evil-liver"as reffered to in the verse before not 'people of the book ie jews' and it says "they will not harm you except a slight hurt, and if they fight against you they will turn and flee, and afterwards they will not be helped" and in the next verse it says that 'disgrace will be their(evil-livers) portion' except if they had a covenant with the prophet, as the prophet had with the jews.

The British after producing the 1939 White Paper, aided the Arab war effort to prevent the creation of Israel, while the US maintained an arms embargo against Israel. The victory of Israel in 48 was widely considered a miracle...no one was expecting them to defeat the traditional armies of the Arabs.
