And johnny was just super smooth vocalist. He had a audience even before join New edition. But some of Ralph's lack of success I think was due to the fact that he came out much later than the rest. I remember that album, and It was hot. Remember the song 'Do what I gotta do"? That was hot. But music changed at the time. Jodeci style.

@djw- Yeah, music did change on Ralph. I also think it had a lot to with Ralph coming out so late and also the fact that we all were used to hearing him sing all the time. But I think if his album had come out before bbd and Johnny's, he would have fared much better. His album was quite underrated. Yeah, his voice may have had something to do with it too. But people must remember, Ralph was the life of New Edition, even though others could sing better. Ralph just had that something special.
