My Dad made my pole based on the design of the poles from Aradia Fitness. I understand that Platinum Stages are good sturdy poles too, altho I haven't tried one personally. :-)

Hold on to your sense of humor ;) I've got that and a thread of sanity and that's what gets me through most anything. I was in a car accident 2 weeks ago & it kinda put the brakes (pardon the pun) on poling. It's gonna take a couple months to heal, but I can hang around Youtube so I don't get bored:)
