@TANOFTZ Incorrect. Nascar has been consistent with only bringing out the yellow on road course races if there are cars that are not moving and there are other cars coming their direction. In this case all the cars that spun were able to continue without losing fluids or leaving debris on the race track, and it would have been at least another minute before the leaders would have come back around. No reason to throw the yellow flag out
I was there at the race (sat at the start/finish line). Great race!! I saw Edwards back-flip in front of me. However, the track is too narrow for 43 cars (too many early accidents/crashes). Since it's a long road course (not oval) it takes too long to clean up any crashes. This is probably the main reason why this race in Mtl. was too long (too many areas/sections to clean up). Montreal 2012 = Sprint Cup (please). Jeff Gordon #1.
@Thetubisify hey dickfuck! look at his stats from the first half of his 09 cup season! Had some great runs! Last half went a bit downhill and this year has been tough but I believe that its more his team than himself. I think we will see him in the winners circle next year; yes, most likely at a road course, but I also think he will have more top 10 and top 15 runs
Dumoulin was lucky not to get black-flagged for smoking. Tagliani and Said had top-10 cars all day and get taken out. Some idiots must not have been running that hard, because Kyle Busch went from 21st to 10th, which pissed me off.
I watched it and they were talking to Marcos and they asked him his secret to his Road Racing. He replied " Not making any mistakes " it wasnt his secret at all.
Because I am Australian he used to race V8 Supercars which is Australian Racing like Nascar but different. He was very good and Won Supercars championship 8 times and thats his Secret.
