Actually the Doctor's exam and the photos of her injuries, along with the absurdity of thinking that a 30 year old maid would willingly have sex with a fat 62 year old man strongly points to the accuracy of a sexual assault charge. This was the strongest possible case any DA could be given, except for one that had been videotaped and in which the pervert confessed. Hence, the need to pressure Vance to drop the case. One side will say: 'the note claims he murdered', the other will say 'the killer claims it was suicide, only to damage him'.
