Too many cars that have another 4-6 years of good use in them are being prematurely destroyed! I think the incentives are good however there's got to be a criteria associated with the program i.e. any car or truck 15 yrs or older should be crushed or the parts sold off, any vehicle ten years or newer should be tuned, inspected and sold with a ninety day warranty! These types of cars & trucks ten years or newer have another 5-6 years of good use ahead of them!

This dealership is not alone. the government is always slow to pay their bills. These dealers will have to carry a lot of debt while they wait for the govt. to pay. They will really get screwed if those pending vouchers get rejected.

I have a friend that works for the Chevy dealer. They won't release a car until the govt pays the voucher on it. No customer has trusted the govt enough to put up the money, and wait to get reimbursed. I know I wouldn't.
