Whiz Bang is now learning to do flying lead changes and (keeping my fingers crossed) will move up to Third Level this year . When we started her in training four years ago, I would have never imagined that she would make it this far....so keep training and one day you will find yourself saying the same thing!
Thank you so much for the video. After years of riding (and about a month of dressage on a PSG school master) I'm finally considering a horse of my own. I'm about a year away from making that move (man plans God laughs), but I'd forgotten how much I loved Standardbreds. While I've put it in the hands of my trainer and instructors, this breed is what I am looking at. I'd love to take an OTT SB. My trainer is a John Lyons trained professional and I love what he does with horses. Thank you again.
oh I was there this week! I wish I could have seen them. I visited the booth for the standardbreds and bught dressage equiptment today! wish me luck on training! ^_^.
your hose is a perfect example of a standardbred off the track and what they can do! They are given bad reps for "not cantering" but it's just because people don't know about them.
thanks for the nice comments....Whiz Bang just got back from the World Equestrian Games where she and 7 other Standardbreds did a demo...people were amazed that Standardbreds can not only do dressage but also jumping...
My standardbred jumps like a pro. Sucks at dressage, but that is only because i do :p Theyre so underrated, the best horses you can find!
