@alan517815 False. I did this last Spring (same run, same company) and the water was only 4 ft deep at the bottom of many of our jumps. The water churns you right back up, the rocks are loose on the bottom, and you can land on your back or tummy because there's no surface tension. It was awesome.

i just went canyoning this weekend and i agree that it was the coolest thing i've done in my life. I want to get certified and become a guide. But if you need promoters, i'll be the fucking posterchild.
I went to Interlaken and went canyoning. Not only is it the coolest thing I've ever done, but it'll remain top of my list for the rest of my life! Just bring a lot of courage and listen to your guide!
@HKTackDriver How much danger is involved in this? Other then jumping into the wrong section and breaking something? Also what kind of suites do you wear, any elbow/knee pads, or just helmet and the suit?

i did this in May last year....one of my favorite memories of europe and I would definately recommend canyoning to people going to Interlaken!
