There is no problem once you understand that the Macedonian folk songs are a subset of the Bulgarian fols songs. Just as the Shoppe or Rhodoppe or Dobrudzhan or Thracian songs. Did the Miladinovi brothers "stole" songs when they published their book titled "Bulgarian Folk Songs"? There is a version of this song in that book BTW.
