@cuttersboi08 Thanks. Had to check out that one since I never played STO so the Luna Class is unfamiliar to me. The USS Titan looked identical to the Prometheus Class starship controlled by the EMH 2 in that Voyager episode, Message in a Bottle.

The Star Trek Titan book series began to hit the shelves in 2005. I'm guessing the crew in those books weren't taken into account when you listed... who ever the hell the people are at the beginning of this video.

@SR71ABCD Actually, in Nemesis... the Argo was a prototype. It's perfectly conceivable that all short range shuttles equipped with the "land rover" carry the name Argo. Don't be a douche.

Honestly... Even the Interplay, Star Trek Game franchise had to undergo extensive legal procedure to use the character names bringing down some of the best ST games we will never play.

titan is a good series, but i enjoyed the iks gorkon books more

Kinda wish they would do an actual series for Titan, but with the majority of the crew being non-human, it's not going to happen because they wouldn't be able to get the budget for all the makeup or for the effects necessary for characters like the doctor.

I believe the ship was fan-designed (they held a contest if i remember right). And i believe the Star Trek books count as a sort of extended canon. I've read a good number of them, they're really interesting.

Fortunately the books aren't what they consider as being canon, as in if it wasn't on-screen, the n it doesn't count. So they COULD make Titan, and stil end up throwing in a few alien species along the way.

I dont like the idea of a dinosaur as the doctor... it's something they'd only do in the comics, in animation or in the novels, 'cause it's not practical in the films or television shows... and I know that I certainly wouldnt accept it as realistic. A Reptilian humanoid, sure... but a dinosaur?

@redalero86 Originally, the Titan was supposed to be massive, perhaps even bigger than a Sovereign, or so I heard.

@GrandFunker No actually the Sovereign Class is a pure warship in starfleet and measures at 685.7 meters according to the star trek tech book i have and is armed to the teeth as was seen in the movies. The Luna class is a pure science and exploratory vessel with state of the art science facilities on board and is only 450 meters with average starfleet weaponry onboard. While the sovereign can carry over 1000 crew, the Luna's capacity is only 350 max according to the books and tech manuals. :)
