@googleman Common went from working w/Chi natives like Doug Infinite and NoI.D. to later collabing with the Soul Quarians(D'Angelo.Qtip.?uestlo­ve.Dilla), to linking w/Kanye, whos another chi head. Except Kanye was brought out by Jay-Z and loved the mainstream attn he was getting. Common was so soulful when it came to his production that he didnt see kanye jocking Dilla's style on BE. Kanye jocked LUDA's style on his first LP too cause LUDA was hot at the time.. sad sad story~
