Shawn at last there is a analogy that work for me this is awsome.....I still think when I play of the sword cutting a lime or lemon when I play with he golf ball....I don't see the ball, I see the back of the ball but I really see the me cutting the lemon (golf ball) and through out and nu cut myself , let me tell yo this never in my live i hit the ball and the divot 2 inches in front of the ball, THANKS SHAWN...
Ok will try I like the idea of keeping sharp sword away from my body I'll try that this weekend or today. It is 64f in Kansas city KS today great weather for practice.
ha! ...."arm-sword unit"...now I've heard it all. GREAT vid, as always. You have truly given me new hope for my game. You are "golf instuctor of the millenium" in my book. Keep up the good work. PS: Just got your DVD set in the mail last week. I can't stop watching them, as well as your videos. THANKS again!!!!
Hi Shawn... As there's a club head involve which is perpendicular to the shaft. So should I be feeling that I am leading with hosel and will result squaring up with the ball automatically at impact area?
Outstanding. If I can remember this along with the grass whip video I'll be so much better. Great teaching! Still have a tendency when I start speed drills not to let gravity start my dowsing. I get quick. Gotta keep my tempo ....
another brillant one shawn ,most golfers are afraid of a fast swing but this explains it perfectly

Interesting thought. Hopefully most people will start to understand how much power there really is in the release. Good luck.

What size watermelon should I use? Do most driving ranges have a fruit policy?
Seriously though cheers for the drill. Just tried it out and it feels good. Won't be sure if it helped until I hit the range this weekend :P.

Great video. I must say the part that helps me the most is the Ball, Grass, Ground analogy.

Hi Shawn... How do you want to halve the watermelon.. Diagonally?
plopp1231 3 weeks ago
@plopp1231 Exactly! Right on the plane of the swing which is dictated by the length of the sword! See "swing plane update; shawn clement" ; Shawn

Out of the night,
when the full moon is bright,
comes the horseman known as Zorro.
This bold renegade
carves a Z with his blade,
a Z that stands for Zorro.
Excellent video Shawn... thanks again !!
