Did they make Denjin Makai 2 for the Super Famicom/SNES as well, achillies elbow? Damn, we ought to lobby for these games to be made for the Wii Virtual Console, XBox Live, and PS Online.
Nah, if you look at DM 2, the graphics and sound are way too good, and there are way too many moves and characters to be translated effectively into 16-bit, even if they cut out a lot of stuff. It would have made a great release for the Saturn or PS1, but that was the era that every single game had to be 3d, no matter how crappy it looked. But yea, I would love to play this on one of the new consoles.
@achilleselbow Do they even have all these moves in the arcade version. I know i did a few of them in the arcade but i see some here that's not in the arcade.
@wirelessjt No clue - I never played any of these in an actual arcade, and the MAME rom for this wasn't even working yet at the point when I made this video. Last I heard they had a working rom, but it still had some glitches.

I also agree that the Denjin Makai series is one of the best 2d beat-em-ups ever do to the variety of moves you can do.
