Essentially the engine wasn't feasible supposedly, they spent 7 months working on just this demo. Microsoft put their foot down and gave them only 10 months to make the game, everything was pretty much scrapped even the story itself. That's why the game looks so rushed. Instead of Earth's last stand, we got a measly fleet attacking and a partnership with the Elites. I want this Halo 2 :( A Story that makes sense.

@McleodASR Yeah they should get Reach right. For all the bitchin' I've done about Halo 2 being shit.. by comparission with Halo 3. It's the bees knees. Online play was always good for Halo 2 though. Halo 3's beta was actually .. bettah (Oh no I didn't) than the finally game. The carbine wasn't way under powered for a start. Halo 2 was more free flowing, faster and fun. Halo 3 is all rigid and slow.
