The animation and work was great! Though the speed was pretty slow. like every finishing pose you do, like how she put her arms down with the ending pose, It needs more.... "Mmph" Im not trying to be rude but if its not possible to make them going faster for their ending poses then yeah. I just want to point out a detail :)

@robloz1 If I remember correctly, it's a textured plane (the ribbon) that followed a path on a spline animated over time. Glow was added in post process. Halfway through it, there's another one starting for her boots as well following the same principle.

I think people fail to realize how much work has to go in a studio rendered piece of work to make characters actually seem "lifelike" (which is why people fussed about avatar's characters because they finally managed to accomplish that) You did AMAZING recreating an ANIME transformation scene. It was spot on. :) Dunno what else people want!

agreed. i studied animation at my college, using MAYA, and it was definately plastic looking.

Animation/movements can't look plastic as it's not a motion property, the character however can. Thing is, had I chosen to go for the cell shaded look, it wouldn't have looked plastic to you anymore, yet the animation in itself would have remained unchanged. However I understand why it may look plastic and creepy to some (or making them feel uneasy) as an anime/cartoon character not in cell shaded mode makes a big dive into the Uncanny Valley for many.

Really nice work with the animation and mimicking the original henshin scene. While the overall body movement is very smooth, there are some parts of it that seem stiff for example hands [common one] and the skirt. Still really nice work for a low poly animation model! Hope to see more from you in the future!
