  • Should have bent the knee to Stannis. Poor Robb...:(

  • i dont like this scene because of the inclusion of Theon Turncloak. It makes no sense from a story point of view to have him there. Theon is basically nothing to the Northmen, just Ned's ward, him pledging allegiance is kinda meaningless, especially considering he is already bound to Robb by virtue of being his ward.

  • note to self: do not dine with the Freys.

  • The king of the north !!! i love Robb <3

  • "It was the JAGONS we bowed to..."

  • it's the king in the north

    -_______________-

  • Let's just hope he doesn't lose his head about all this stuff.

  • @taitoca :P

  • oh god. This is really fucking epic.

  • Chills. I have chills.

  • Hail the bastard of the North- lol fucking love this scene

  • This scene gives me goosebumps

  • wow wow wow, was that Theon at 1:45 ???

  • @MrEjemploanonimo yes he is a twat though

  • poor bastards dont know whats coming to them

  • fuck you theon

  • Fucking epic!!!

  • In the north*

  • IN THE NORTH

    not of the north

    INNNNNNN

  • Fuck Theon.

  • There, sits the only king I mean to bend my knee to, The King In The North!

  • No joke I got a chill when he said that

  • This is the kind of scene every man wants to be part of..defiance against injustice and proclaiming the good of heart you leader. FUCKING A THE KING OF THE NORTH!!!

  • Jon Umber badass. Very interesting what will happen to him after the Red Wedding. I hope he finds a way to escape and continue the separatist cause.

  • lol at lady mormont's cackle. 0:58

  • this is fucking depressing

  • Theon you backstabbing piece of shit!

  • THE KING IN THE... oh wait (reads third book again) fuck that wedding. Oh well.

THE QUEEN ACROSS THE NARROW SEA!!!!

  • F**k this scene...had me waking up everyone in my house at 2 am...my dumb ass running around screaming " the king of the north!" epic..

  • If that was me and I had to choose between Jauffre, Stannis, Renley & Robb. I would choose Robb without hesitation!

reasons: jauffre is bastard son not the true king plus he's a little shit

Stannis left to go to Dragonstone after Jon Arryns murder

Renley is desparate to prove himself

Robb didn't choose to be king of the north, his banner men declared him king of the north!

I would rather bow to a king who didn't chose himself as king!

THE KING OF THE NORTH - ROBB STARK!

  • @0307scott the nobility of the north choose that king and in the story people didnt know about joffrey being a bastard they thought it was stannis his propaganda

  • @warlight2333 Everyone knows, in the book. Littlefinger, Varys, the Hound, Tywin Lannister, etc.. the only people who don't know are Jauffre and robert

  • "THE KING OF WINTER!" Why did they not put Maege Mormont saying that?

  • Winter is coming in three months.

  • He'll own them all. He's got the Boltons, Freys, Karstarks AND Greyjoys on his side, how can he lose?

  • @theleechlord you dont wanna know :P

  • @warlight2333 with so many trusted and loyal allies on his side victory is all but guaranteed. Not to mention he holds Jaime Lannister prisoner.

  • @theleechlord I wouldn't trust the Frey's or Greyjoys. The Freys have never helped in anyones war. Roberts rebellion against the mad king, Lord Frey didn't send troops till the battle was all but won. The Greyjoys initially rebelled against Robert thats why afterward Theon went to Winterfell with Ned Stark as a hostage(Ward).

  • @theleechlord I see what you did there :P

  • "Am I your brother? Now and always." Shut the fuck up Theon.

  • fucking Theon...

  • go south and burn the motherfucking south!

  • THEON TURNCOAT!

  • As one who's currently reading book 3 part 2, and an honest fan who hates spoilers, I can say that season 3 of the TV Show will be VERY hard on fans.

  • THE KING IN THE NORTH!

  • THE KING IN THE NORTH!

  • The one TRUE king!!!!

  • Totally love Great Jon Umber. So loyal until the very end!

  • Goddamn RW. ;(

  • That would have been so awkward if no one else had joined in.

  • I used to be a King of the North, until I took a Javelin in the knee.

  • The King of the North!

  • Ramsay trained him well

  • Theon...

  • LE ROI DU NORD!

  • My sword is yours, in victory dans defeat for this day until my last day !!!

    I LOVE XD

  • oh looky here. The She-bears mother at 0:57

  • words that have not been heard since Aegon the conquerer made the kingdoms one were heard once again that night

    THE KING IN THE NORTH!!!!!!!!

  • EPIC

  • Baltimore Ravens

  • I want to take Theon's head and cave it in with a rock. Twice.

  • @MissMillsonxx hehe well he would actually thank you for that after he starts to smell like a reek....it rhymes with weak

  • Theon Greyjoy, Robb's brother, now and always.

  • Where's the leech lord?

Anyways, looks like Robb's about to start the owning of the Lannisters.

  • @theleechlord The Leech Lord was at the time in Twins, after lost battle with lord Tywin, so he never pledged fealty to Robb in person. It was only given.

  • @MrSharpeace I suppose, but in the show they changed all that, didn't they? Oh, well, he'll be there next season.

  • Well, in retrospect, this was really a bad idea.

  • FUCK. THE FREYS

  • Stop making Robb so fucking awesome. Stupid RW.

  • powerful scene

  • THE KING OF THE FUCKING NORHT!

  • @CocktailGaming XD ahahahah Fuck yeah!

  • @CocktailGaming LOL

  • @CocktailGaming BITCH!!

  • @keeplisted ASS!

  • @CocktailGaming FUCKING A RIGHT!!!

  • @CocktailGaming

How the hell does a comment with two errors make it to the top?

  • @thestranger4812 Well, I wrote the comment in the spur of the moment and a lot of people felt the same way. When I saw the scene for the first time I literally screamed, "The king of the fucking north!"

  • fuck theon

  • KING OF THE NORTH! KING OF THE NORTH!

  • {Spoilers} I bet they set the red wedding up as the finale or close to it like they did ned in season 1

  • @sicknero1 Most likely. Agreed. For those who have not read the books, watch the news. There will be riots in the streets! ROFL!

  • epic ¡¡¡¡

  • chills!

  • the King of the North... !

  • All hail the KING OF THE NORTH!

  • The scene is amazing and powerful, it brings tears to eyes indeed. But note

Catelyn's face at 2:08 (perfectly acted). She has just lost Ned and now she's losing Robb. So it must be and she knows it. Because he is not her little son anymore. Now he's the King of the North.

  • Interesting that, in translation, there is no distinction made between "the King OF the North" and "the King IN the North".

Does anyone thing the Red Wedding is going to be even more heartbreaking in the show that it was in the books? Richard Madden is just so darned good as Robb :(

  • @HashMaroon GRRM said that perhaps he would need to emigrate after they film the RW ;) Biggest anus of fantasy literature, indeed, but I must admit that he knew what he was doing. And yeah, Robb is better character in the series and Madden rocks.

  • Incredible scene, well complimented by the music! Yeah, Theon turns out to be a real scum, but he pays for his treachery, oh yes he does, big time . . . Glad to see that HBO announced they are in it for the duration - to see the whole "A Song of Ice and Fire" saga played out onscreen is truly going to be epic . . .

  • i replayed this scene over 30 times

  • Watch this seen.. Then listen to " For Whom The Bell Tolls" By Metallica this song reminds of Game of Thrones.

  • such an intense epic scene I'm sitting here squealing like a little girl. loll

  • Very inspiring; one of the best scenes of the series. And yer fuck it I welled up a bit. The King of the North! I'd die besides these men!

  • Theon you liar

  • Any1 know what is name of this theme ?

  • I HAD CHILL IN MY SPINES TOO!!!!!!!!! TIS' SO BEAUTIFUL I CRIED!!!!!!!

  • Inb4 Red Wedding

  • Great series mate i love it.That's the part when i finally felt that Joefrry Lannister was about to get real pain in the arse.

  • i FUCKING LOVE this show

  • this scene is gonna make the depiction of the red wedding suck even more

  • Jerry Adams "I'll have peace on those terms" lool

  • wow, goosebumps!!!

  • A perfect scene for a perfect character played by a perfect actor. It's just ... perfect :')

  • ALL HAIL HIS MAJESTY, ROBB STARK, FIRST OF HIS NAME, LORD OF WINTERFELL, AND KING IN THE NORTH!

  • Anyone else feel some special strange magic at work in a scene written by Americans, but acted by English, Scots and Irish regarding the independence of a fantastical northern kingdom? GRRM must have done so much research to infuse Westeros with this "reality," and the cast speak their lines with eerie levels of emotion.

  • Greatjon Umber, the first proclaimer of King in the North, is played by the awesome actor Clive Mantle. Mantle is now in not only what will be the greatest fantasy TV series of all time, but was part of the previous one in my opinion: he played Little John in ROBIN OF SHERWOOD, held by many to be the greatest adaptation of that legend. Check it out.

  • Epic moment. Chills!

  • Incredible!

  • JON UMBER: The drakes are dead!

    DAENERYS: Oh, really?

  • 2:01 *Sure, I'll lay my sword down too.. but I can't be arsed to put my cup 'o wine down first*

  • I am the only true king of the north!

  • Ooooh Robb..... So effing hott.....

  • fuck you boltons!!!! sick demented bastards THE KING IN THE NORTH rules!!! :D

  • @Rhadamantys2011 I guess you mention Brann ;) THE KING IN THE NORTH!!! He will kick shit out of Boltons :D but apparently, hes on his Beyond The Wall Trip at the moment :P

  • @moonshit if you haven't read Dance of Dragons yet !!!BIG SPOILER ALERT!!! , if you have , you know that Lord Wyman Manderly comissioned Davos Seaworth to retrieve Rickon from wherever the hell he is , so if they succeed on thes Rickon would be Lord of Winterfell since Bran is beyond the Wall and most likely he is never coming back from there

  • @Rhadamantys2011 nope i didnt read it :P thanks for spoiling... lol jk ;) come on... seriusly Brann is not comming home? thats sad... damn you Martin RR :P I love his twisted mind :D

  • @moonshit Well I'm just saying that he is on a weird trip right now , knowing Martin RR he could very well have Master Chief dropping from orbit and retreiving Bran to marry Daenerys XD

  • @moonshit Yop, he´s capable of destroying his world in the circle of hattred and revenge and regret that came to late. Or write some fucking acceptable ending. But don´t worry. How can anyone say Bran is not comming home after reading the fifth book? Anything can happen. Even if we´ll hate Martin for that (and I hate him for some things he did to his characters already).

  • I firmly believe the north remembers. It's just sad about the boltons, they betrayed the north so badly

  • The greatjon is being held prisoner. He lives, so does edmure tulle he was sent to the golden tooth a castle

  • damn the Red Wedding, Bran better do something about winterfell, ya know, after he learns to fly and all

  • @blackdot550 knowing George RR Martin's twists maybe Tony Stark shows up with an Iron Man suit (you know he being family and all ) to fuck the Freys with plasma beams and burns the Twins to the ground. Anyway it ends I want to see Tyrion as Lord of Casterly Rock , and making it his very own Harem :D

  • @Rhadamantys2011 I so want every Frey and Ramsay Bolton's head on a spike. I have finished book 5 and well..George needs to sit his ass down and get to f-ing writing!

  • @Psgurl90069 I bet he´s gonna kill both Boltons (Ramsay killing Roose?) and maybe old Walder´s gonna die and some of his heirs will cut each other´s troat ;) Realistic enough?

  • @svoba4af LOL! I'm still annoyed about the Red Wedding. OMG - I normally read history books and the only fantasy ever was Star Wars but this shit is crack on paper! *rubbing teeth* ROFL! Ramsay soooooooooooooo annoys me that I have pretty much forgiven Theon. I'm more interested in justice for the Starks and get very, VERY bored with Daenerys (sp?) because I'm like bitch you should be trying to go home!!! ROFL! :) Going to stop now as I have some theories but don't want to do a spoiler.

  • @Psgurl90069 We´re spoiling enough... Well, I would understand old Walder if the means were different, you know? Walder said Fuck some rights and everything, I´ll do what I want. And there will be consequences - it´s not justice because GRRM obviously didn´t do that thing, he just bet on the wrong horse like he did before. And Ramsay - right when we though we got rid of psychotic bastard, there is another! Daenerys should definatelly tame her pets quickly and move her lazy ass to Westeros.

  • @svoba4af Spot on!!! Still...our sweet Robb. Like he really needed to marry that chick. All this for that. But they ate his salt and bread - it is known - ROFL! Also, I'm still trying to wrap my brain around how all this started. I think Lysa Arryn i.e. Jon? Then again, Catelyn went all momma bear and kicked all this off and our dear Ned if only he knew how to keep his mouth shut and just get on with it. But that damn Ramsay, ROFL! I'm using a whetstone for my knife for him!

  • @Psgurl90069 It started when Cersei opened her legs for the wrong guy... and when Littlefinger decided to do something for his career, of course. I felt sorry for Ned in the first book, but somehow not later on when I saw what his decissions caused. Poor Robb, always trying to do the right thing and play his father´s part - and when he did something just for himself (Jeyne)... it turned out to be just another punch in horrible situation. Gee, your hatred for Ramsay is bloody tough, so to say :D

  • @svoba4af True...What Jaime does for love. Shame, I'm a big Nikolaj Coster-Waldau fan. He's a good Jaime. Yes, damn Boltons! That is one cruel muthafecka! :) I still think what Robb did was just dumb. Walder was known to not take any slights and that he ransomed the crossing of the river by trying to make up for all his absorbed injustices (dude surely didn't keep his worm in his pants, nobody's fault but his own). But Robb should have known. I mean he frequented, allegedly whore houses w/Theon!

  • @Psgurl90069 What Robb does for love :D But you surely noticed that he himself knew that this thing with Jeyne was dumb. Somehow sweet but dumb nonetheless. He could have done what´s morally right or what´s reasonabble :/

  • @Psgurl90069 (Sighs) The flaw of the Starks is that they belong to that 1 % of honorable people in Westeros. Sure I haven´t seen Sirens, I´m not British. But I quess I can try watching "Robb Stark" being funny ;) IMO Madden can be future star with a bit of luck - he´s good-looking in Michael Fassbender way with amazing voice, skillful actor and still very young. Go go, Scotland.

  • @svoba4af I have not seen the series either but it's on youtube! Madden is def. the one to watch and oh, Michael Fassbender...my goodness. I'm going to faint!

  • @Psgurl90069 Wait, you haven´t noticed? :D They can play brothers and no-one would wonder.

  • @svoba4af I'd buy all the copies of that movie! :)

  • It would have been perfect it Grey Wind had started howling at the end.

  • can anyone please tell me if the greatjon died in the red wedding or was just takeing capture

  • @TheDevaluation captured not killed

  • Little bastard needs to go die... Not Robb! Or Jon for that matter! That treacherous little- gah I can't eve bring myself to type his name. You know who I'm talking about.

  • "Bear Island knows no king but the King in the North, whose name is STARK"

  • I got goosebumps

  • The North Remembers

  • @BardicInquisition Manderly>> The North Remembers Indeed. Frey Pie

  • @OGJake Manderly = lardass badass. "Mayhaps it was a mercy... had he lived, he would have become a Frey."

  • I fucking love Greatjon Umber. ;_;

  • read a dance with dragons he changes.

  • @metalspoon60 Who changes?

  • Theon, you prick!

  • Theon breaking hearts :[

  • Am I the only one who heard Robb say to Theon, "No and always", and thought, "That was pretty fucking rude"?

  • @IntermissionForBunny "Now and always"

  • @vames1986: Yeah, I heard him correctly after watching a second time.

  • Although it should be 'le Roi dans le Nord', or 'le Roi d'ens le Nord.' Probably the former.

  • I seriously had chills.

  • its king IN the north not of the north.

  • Comment removed

  • it s so hot i love him

  • oh you're fucked now Lannisters.

  • Ugh he's so sexy. WHY DOES HE NOT EXIST?!

  • great fucking scene.

  • Is it just me, or is Greatjon Umber (the one who looks like Santa Claus) just awesome, all around? He's one in a million, a man who gives great speeches AND loses two fingers, but laughs about it.

  • Best fucking series ever.
