  • ur really gudd at decoratingg :o :D

  • all i have is white- clear glass/crystal- and white with black whimsical designs-stripes polka dots and swirls- i use bed sheets for table clothes (not the ones you can tell what they are) i like thin clothes- easier to layer with out looking bulky. I LOVE GOODWILL for the coolest white and clear stuff- there's a warmth to the vintage or OLD!!!! HAHA- LOVE YOUR VIDS X SHELLY

  • I wish I was that creative...

  • I love the candles-on-the -plate idea, but... what do you do with them once you start bringing the food? Do you put them right in front of each guest or do you put them out and move them on the counter or something?

  • Lovely table settings! : )

  • Beautiful, thank you to join us watch the film excellent

  • thanks for the friend invite, Rebecca!

honestly, I love your "how to" videos. I am thinking of having a small fancy dinner party for my upcoming birthday in April, and this video (plus your other ones) have helped me a lot with ideas.

I have always been fascinated with setting tables and decorating with smaller budgets. Your tips have inspired me to be more creative :)

    thank you so much!

    God Bless,

    Amanda

  • That's Awesome Mandy.

I'm so glad you have found my how to videos inspiring. Thats exactly why I have made them. I grew up with a mother who encouraged creativity. She entertained regularly and she collected beautiful china and colored wine goblets. My childhood was filled with ample opportunities to develop my creative skills in this area. I realize not everyone had this kind of upbringing so I have chosen to share mine through YouTube.

Thanks for the nice comments and good luck on your party!

  • Oh, i love dinner party, especially nice atmosphere & good italian dishes :)

  • Nice video! Wow, the tables look so pretty.

  • Thank you gypsiekiz

  • You look like you would have been in high school in the 80's, not old enough to get married.

  • O.K. So . . . . . This is my FAVORITE comment since I began my youtube journey 11 months ago :-)

It's true, no actually I was 4 in the 80's LOL

    Best wishes, RR

  • Very beautiful and informative video. Thanks for sharing.

  • anyways thanks a lot 5* i love you videos.

  • in my opinion Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, West Elm, and Pier 1 are overpriced. When I have gone shopping with my mother, we have found that the same designs, and quality of plates from those stores can be found in Bed,Bath, & beyond, Better Homes&Gardens, and Ikea. and as for decorations i remember that last year i made a truck-load of origami cranes of different colors. Some where even hanging from the chandelier.

  • Hey thanks. I can really use this for my birthday party. It's on January and I would be holding a small dinner party of ten people. I was worried about the dinner-ware place setting but thanks to your videos I think I can envision it perfectly. I really did like the fact that your plates and glass were very simple. It definitely saves money.

  • Well done! good Information and sweet friend too. lol

5***** alot of respect for you.

    ZANKO

    That's quite a compliment!

Keep checking back as we upload new videos periodically!

    Thanks RR

  • Wow...please make my table fun like that!

  • That was a funny, smooth, clean presentation of how to make a house and home!

    Well done.

  • Rebecca, The pictures you showed in here were fantastic!

I think you are right about the fine china when getting married. It's just such a strong tradition in America, but a wasteful one I suppose. I have been married over 50 years and have probably used mine 50 times if that. Love your videos, You are easy on the eyes ;-)

  • I love you.

  • Awesome!

    RR

  • great idea on the trial run.

like the idea of everything being clear.

love the added photos of GORGEOUS table settings.

are those pictures yours or from magazines?

  • ooooooo if only i was old enough to actually through formal dinner parties!!!

    really love the sand/seashell idea!

i think being slightly OCD really helps in design... well, it does for me =P

ive always wondered what the interior of an int. designers house looks like...

  • Thanks LuigiRules. You're so cute!

Yes being slightly OCD helps with this stuff. . . . you know, I'm gonna get some slack from people who unfortunately are not as blessed as us :-))) OCD has it's benefits!

I'm glad you liked the video. Did you watch the Setting the table one too. . . some funny editing on that one.

    Keep checking back LR,

Thanks for star rating and favoring . . . I appreciate it ;-)

    RR

  • Thank you LuigiRules,

I'm a bit OCD too so I happen to agree with you on the design assistance :-)

I hope when you do get old enough to have dinner parties, you make it an important part of how you entertain. Leaves a lasting impression on people . . . believe me!

    RR

  • WOW!! Reb I just have to say WOW!

looking forward to see more of your videos.

And Congratulation for your recent achievement.

    Sanjida

  • Hi Doll,

So glad you liked it! You are definitely on top of your YouTube watching. I think you saw this even before I did :-)

Thanks for your kind words. I'm thinking this type of video is not usually on peoples top priority list but maybe with the holidays coming up, people will find them helpful. Most moms now days work so a lot of this stuff has gone by the wayside. I'm hoping to start a revival of good manners and home entertaining.

    God Bless,

    RR
