@OptimusPrimeSG hey let me ask you somthin real quick do these soc release toys do there values ever go up i looked on ebay for completed auctions for alot of these Toys they all seem to sell exactlly for the same prices they came out an were sold for an even the older releases of some of them dont seem to be worth major bucks like the zambot 3 combattler etc etc please let me know what you think on this thanks

@BustersTexas For some figures, they are worth more due to their rarity or popularity while some, although being older, are not worth much because they are not popular with the masses. It also depends on whether the anime was once broadcasted in regions outside of Japan, such as Europe. Usually such figures are worth more because they cater to a wider and more international market. In most cases, the bigger bots or the combiner bots generally appreciate in value.

@McNugget767 Not this one, but you can get another product of Grendizer figure with

much cheaper price. The product name is "Revoltech Yamaguchi Grendizer".

One problem is that one doesn't include "Spaicer".

Having watching your great reviews, i bought Voltes and Grendizer, but little confused for which one to get between getter robo GX-51 or the classic one ? i collected Arcadia ship, and gonna take a break for a while before getting Yamato GX, there's one with the 1/350 scale its #$%^& amazing but man over 400 parts to assemble and cost 500 USD :S

@emerick9 Thanks for your kind compliments. =) If you're a fan of te Getter trio, it would be better to get the GX-06 set that gives you all 3 of them. GX-51 Getter is modeled after the Getter 1 that is featured in the Shin Getter OVA animation.

Buy the way, got mine about a week ago.

Just great. I'm a bit disappointed by the first Koji's saucer which is not very accurate (the globes under the cockpit should be green, and it was not such a difficult thing to do...), but it's the only bad thing to say about that box. Everething else is just great.

So, there's only one thing to do if you are like me an UFO Robo fan : go buy it, buy it, BUY IT!!! :)

@gardgia Apart from that little inaccuracy, the toy is a good 99% representation of Grendizer. It is indeed a great toy for fans of the UFO Robo anime. =)

You said 500 dollars? That's very expensive for a not-so-big model (I mean in size). But this is awefully cartoon accurate and beautiful.

@gardgia Yup, it used to fetch $500 a piece when the demand was high and there was no reissue of this toy. Eversince the toy had it's reissue, the price us pretty stable at around $200-$250. =)

@OptimusPrimeSG Thank you. I've got two more questions : the first issue sold Grendizer and spacers separately, and the second was a complete box, didn't it? And I've seen that SOC Grendizer on a website, it seemed to be able to remove it's shoulder blades to form it's axe.

@gardgia Hi, GX-04 Grendizer was released first. When GX-04X Spacer set was released, they also released the GX-04S complete set concurrently. The GX-04X was meant to cater to collectors who already own the GX-04 while the GX-04S was meant for those who did not own it in the first place. For the blades on the shoulders, the shape is different. Though you can remove it, you can't use it to form the axe as the shape is pretty odd looking.

@OptimusPrimeSG @OptimusPrimeSG I just got this action figure yesterday :-) I was so happy cuz it's a masterpiece...but the only thing that disappoints me is that the left Spin Saucer is so loose and it falls every time I attach it to the triangle shaped wing. I had to put some paper tape inside this saucer to make it thicker.

@VanDammedia Hi, I am glad you're generally happy with this piece. I have no problem attaching my spin saucer to the wing though. I guess yours could have a slight production error that occurred due to the fact that they have reused the mold too many times over the years of reissuing this toy.
