The world is SCREWED - UP enough without religions that spout hate & advocate killing / torturing / punishing / penalizing anyone who doesn't follow them, support them or kowtow to them.
Christianity is guilty of doing some pretty awful & reprehensible stuff in " the name of God ", too, but Islam is really BARBARIC. They publicize executions & people attend them like damn monster truck rallies, this was in Saudi Arabia, acc'ding to an acquaintance w / was there.

@knoxvilleguy2: Well, brainwashing anyone with any religion that doesn't back itself up with more than just words, is usually a bad thing, but, as far as public executions go, I am all for them, if the convicted actually deserves to die that is. I think things like that would help curb the way out of control crime rate in this country. That and things like public floggings. We coddle criminals too much in this country.

Needless to say, he got a WELL DESERVED attitude adjustment, and a healthy dose of humility that taught him to have some fucking respect for others.
