  • What was that cornet player doing? Was he high or something?

  • Damn. I don't think its legal for Clark Terry, Byron Stripling, Conrad Herwig, John Campbell, and Branford Marsalis to be in the same room. Too much jazz happening. XD

  • What a band....helllooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....chops plus....think of a freekin' number...........

  • Looks like the guy on the cornet may just be a joke or something

  • @WatsonBrosMusic Maybe he's the club owner. :-)

  • what a total dick on the cornet!

  • Peter Dowdall sounds a lot like NHOP!

  • Byron stripling.. whoa~ thats the reason why the trumpet section is Smoking.. :)

  • Byron stripling.. whoa~

  • first off, killin!

but whats the cornet player standing by himself by the rhythm section doing......?

  • Young Branford Marsalis in the sax section - cool!

  • i know that 5th trumpet guy lokkin wierd

  • @MrRose2012 Yeah, I can't figure out what he is doing. It's cool that he's playing a Cornet, but what is up with the strange motions? He's not exactly conducting for the drum solo...If he's playing lead, strange that he would use a Cornet for it, then why would he step away from the Trumpets at one point? To show off?

  • @Drworm89 he's probably the host of the show. Either way he looks like a huge tool.

  • @Drworm89 It looked to me like he was making signals to a sound-guy or something.

  • This is the first time I've heard Terry's big band. Then didn't make many or very few recordings.I never got a chance to hear them on radio or any means of broadcastings at all.I like what I heard.

  • There are some famous musicians in that band. Sounded great. I love Clark Terry, so smooth.

  • What a great video. That band is tight!

  • My favourite tune and my favourite fluegel!

  • Who's the guy trying to lead the band from the 5th trumpet book?

  • very nice. i love this song. my high school small combo did the Real book version of the A train.

  • Do you have any recording?

  • Nah, we only record at concerts, and big band, and for contest tapings. But i wished we did! Our tenor sax, Max Seiden, won the Downbeat Jazz award right after it.

  • Wow! That's pretty good!!!
