I've been watching the original UK version, and just heard there was an American version and wondered why I've never seen it. Now I know.  Just put the original on in the U.S., people would watch it. Though they would probably have to edit it for both time and content, since we need to have all TV be appropriate for the kiddies, and need to have plenty of time for those commercials!

The worst thing about this remake is the jokes that they re-use are not even done with the proper delivery... The slight changes they make are exactly what gives the original jokes their flavor and make them good. I notice they let the punchline through far too early. Roy doesnt let the phone ring... he answers and puts on hold for examp.

This is just plain horrid and I do not think it will ever work for a few reasons.

1. Even though some lines/situations are different to give some sort of newness to it, these changes are not always for the best.

2. The chemistry between Moss and Roy is non-existent due to Roy seeming to not be committed to his role. As a result it seems as if Moss is just waiting for Roy to shut up.

3. The new Jen is horrid. She is just delivering lines like they are pizza past the 30 minute mark.
