I went to an AIC concert the 23rd of Feb, kick ass show! William, Jerry, Sean, and Mike were all rockin their ass's off. Mike was really gettin into it like this show. William had a great reaction to the crowd, which he should he's the new frontman

It is possible to like both Layne, and Duvall. Just because Layne passed does not mean Alice can't move on. Layne was awesome, his sickness took his life. Does that mean Jerry in crew have to die as well. The new album is AIC. If they changed there name it would be a cop-out. It is clearly an Alice album.

Man, many bands these days i think most of them, their newest albums kick ass, but why couldnt other bands such as metallica try not to make albums that suck and that have nothing to do with the music they ussually played

Because playing the same for music for a long period of time gets boring. If you come up with a guitar riff and it doesn't sound like the type of music your band plays but it sounds really good you shouldn't be ashamed of it and discard. Since your brigning up Metallica I'll use an example.. When Hetfield was talkin to his Girlfriend he came up with Nothing Else Matter. After a while he finished it but he didn't think that it suited the bands music but Lars Ulrich insisted that they keep it.
