  • WHAT THE FUCK DOES SHE KNOW ABOUT IRAQ? IS SHE ON THE BATTLE FIELD? WERE THE FUCK IS SHE GETTING HER INTEL?

THERE IS NO AL QAEDA OR TALIBAN, THERE ARE DOZENS OF FREEDOM FIGHTER GROUPS WITH THEIR OWN AGENDAS AND MISSIONS.

SHE SPEAKS LIKE AL QAEDA IS A COUNTRY? WHAT A FUCKING JOKE

  • glad your gone bitch

  • This bitch was full of shit so is our government

  • "beating the hornets' nest makes them come back at us... this doesn't mean we should stop doing it"... eerrrr, yeah, right.

  • Sarcasm - it's what's for dinner!

  • i think she could have a future in propaganda. She doesn't have the passion of a true fuhrer, but she certainly can speed talk and lie and the speed of sound. All i can say is "Oh shut up!" "Oh shut up!" "Oh shut up!" "Oh shut up!" ........

  • You could SAY that but you'd still be an idiot.

  • It's more than a gut feeling. This is minion-speak. Not to difficult to recognize. It is not like sports with sides and teams. It is war where status and money hang in the balance. The regular talkers needed a break. This lady is a stand in minion. If she i around long enough maybe shel wil become inner circle. She would kill you for position and then she would say someone else did it.

  • You need to lay off the Peyote!

  • Wow, great to see the press expose the State Dept. fantasies which --> more dead Americans and Iraqis.

Fire State's spin whore and score one for the press and the Constitution.

  • Better take a good look at 1993 and ask who supplied the explosives and who allowed it to happen.

Google: 1993 fbi world trade center Also ask Barbara Bodine, the republican ambassador to Yemen, why she refused to let the FBI's top terrorism expert, John O'Neill, investigate the bombing of the Cole.

Ask Bush why he later rewarded Bodine with the governorship of Baghdad.

  • Those people, i.e. al Qaeda, had no presence in Iraq before the war. Because of the chaos we created through our invasion of that country, al Qaeda is not only present in Iraq but has gained enormous sympathy in the rest of the Islamic world. The invasion of Iraq was a complete and total folly. Wake up America! The emperor has no clothes.

  • How do you know Al Qaeda had no presence in Iraq? Did Saddam tell you that? Our invasion of Iraq has brought many terrorists to Iraq. What you need to realize is WHY? Why attacked our military when they could be hitting us much harder here at home?

  • Thanks for the interesting comments. Feel free to send any tips for later episodes. Thanks again for watching!

  • Google: Carlyle Group buys

The Bush's Carlyle Group is using it's Iraq war profits to buy up everything from health care providers to Virgin records and a Chinese Bank.

Other associated with the Carlyle Group: the Bin Ladens, James Baker, Henry Kissinger, Frank Carlucci (former defense secretrary and Wolfowitz's college roommate), former British PM John Major.

  • They're trying to raise the terror and fear level while at the same time saying operations in Iraq have been successful.

Really, after all their lies, why does anyone pay any attention to what this administration has to say?

  • It's the do exactly what the terrorist say and maybe they will let you live crowd.

  • Its a member of the half measures club. Lets poke the hive without using any bug spray.

  • However, statistics show that since the 70's, the # of global terrorist attacks have remained fairly constant until Bush came into office. Go to TKB. org and see for yourself. Wake up people. The Bush camp uses fear and lies to profit from the "War on Terror". Communism was dead so they found something else with no end.

  • The Bush administration lied to start a war with Iraq. This was done for greed alone. Republicans start wars to give contracts out. Sure we were hit on 9/11 and we had every right to go into Afghanistan.

  • Boy oh boy, the thinktank's tanking fer sure! She's good though! She can spin a web better than an 'ole southern black widder spider! hehehe....faster anyway, but---but, the web frances spins, is so flimsy, it can't even catch a fly!

    7-18-07

  • The Iraq invasion clearly has helped Al Qaeda. We need to impeach these people already.

  • please do. from Tokyo japan

  • The same liars who got us into Iraq with all of their lies are now lying to us about Iran ! LIARS the whole regime is full of them !

  • Do they (our government) think that WE are ALL idiots? S.O.S....save our selves.

  • "or historical wars!" oh my god...... s.o.s.!

  • Al Queda wants to strike the U.S.: hardly ground-breaking. Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the American mainland already been attacked? (Yes, twice, 1993, 9/11). To take the fight to the enemy is not a bad military strategy.

  • 1. The enemy was never in Iraq.

    2. "Taking it to the enemy" has resulted in more deaths than the bombing and 911 many many times over. Are you suggesting that this has been a succesful strategy?

    3. The military is a blunt axe, when we needed a scalple. 911 happened when the president and national security advisor ignored the warnings. Iraq was a smoke screen.

  • "The enemy?" I only said the U.S. homeland was attacked with loss of life twice. More American assets with loss of life--overseas. We are at war with any enemy wish Americans dead.

War never has parity. No Americans died before we declared war on Germany in WW II (hardly any in WW I). More American deaths in war was a successful strategy.

Clinton and the American public did not heed the warnings during Bill's tenure dazzled as we were with frivolities: Monica.

  • Wrong, Bill did try to go after them and he was critized for doing so as meerly a distraction from the Monica scandal.

We are at war with an idealogy not a country. Our actions in the past fueled that ideology (And Bill contributed to that too), and our actions today have made it many times worse. Because we are not attacking "the enemy", only expanding our influence in a region rich with oil.

Sorry you think more death is a good strategy...

  • Clinton's Daily Brief 4 Dec. '98: "Bin Ladin Preparing to Hijack US Aircraft and Other Attacks" (p. 128, 9/11 Commission).

    Intelligence angered by Clinton.

Clinton crossed out kill Osama language.

"Clinton told the Commission that he had no recollection of why he rewrote the language" (p. 133).

The best opportunity to take out a sworn enemy and American killer had slipped away because Clinton hesitated.

  • Right... it's Clintons fault.

    1. Clinton was president in 2001

    2. Clinton caused Bush and Rice to ignore several attempts and intelligence reports warning of the incoming threat.

    3. Clinton made Bush sit there reading a children's book while he was told we were being attacked.

    4. Clinton lied us into a War.

Blind Partisanship is sickening, a man shouldn't blames anothers for something that happened during his watch. And no I don't plan on voting for Hillary.

  • I repeat myself; it was Clinton's watch in 1998 when intelligence told him the best time to take Osama out was then. They were correct. This is a part of the historical record regardless of how much harping on Bush's failings you make.

  • The only difference is he tried. Against great opposition by a republican dominated He admits he failed. Richard Clarke admits he failed. This is what leaders do.

Except Bush and his supporters only make excuses for his many many failures and his many many lies that have caused the the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people and the suffering of millions in Iraq. Including more americans than were killed on 911.

I'm sorry there just is no comparison.

  • The 911 Commission demonstrated Clinton did not try hard enough when he knew in 1998.

The Republicans were not involved. The discussions were within intelligence, not Congress.

Clinton had a failure of memory about 1998. He did not try, he did not admit his failure, he did not lead.

    No comparison: correct.

  • It's pretty sad when partisans look at the past for excuses while turning a blind eye to how dire the present situation is and how we got here (which has nothing to do with 911). It's clear you have nothing real left to say.

Bush and his father were business partners with the bin ladins. They dupe blind partisans like yourself with to further their agenda of wealth and power. Just like the pundits who do the same thing to sell books.

  • Osama was strong enough 9 years ago to kill Americans. The point is that these "news" stories are not news. What Clinton knew in secret in a brief is now common knowledge. That is not news. Spin conspiracy theories all you want, it does not help.

  • Intelligence on Al Qaeda was gathered at the end of the Clinton era, a strategy to handle the problem was handed over to the Bush admnistration which *completely* ignored it.

Clinton tried to go after them and has admitted on record a failure to do so. Bush did neither, and he still isn't going after Osama today. Your arguments sound desparate.

You seem fanatic to somehow believe Bush is innocent in the deaths of hundreds of thousands. Which has nothing to do with 911

  • Clinton's ambivalence meant there was no coherent Osama stategy to hand over.

But, Clinton had a clear Dec. '98 onwards foreign policy strategy for one place: bombing the hell out of Iraq. He unleashed a round-the-clock aerial assault. Operation Desert Fox blasted through Oct. '99, 6,000 sorties, 1,800 bombs, 1,100 missiles: source, August '99 New York Times. Clinton's killing assault clearly identified Iraq as the enemy, not Osama.

  • And your point being what? Besides your constant diversions.

Pretty much every president since 70s had tried to control Saddam either by bombing, sanctions, or giving him weapons to use on other people. All for our oil interests in that region. Our meddling in the middle east is what bred US terrorism in the first place.

However your pal Bush was the first stupid enough to overthrow the regime. Even his father wouldn't do that for the exact same reasons Bush was warned not to.

  • In 1850 the Supreme Court ruled a President as Commander may: "invade the hostile country, and subject it to the sovereignty and authority of the United States." 1850 predates Bush. Polk to T. Roosevelt deployed troops, without Congressional approval, for our national interests. Presidents delegate supreme command, but there is no constitutional requirement. Opposing a fielded enemy, the President possesses all powers accorded by international law to any supreme commander.

  • And your point being what?

Legally I can take a piss on my bed, wow maybe I should do that?

News Flash, the same shit got us stuck in Vietnam which was never a declaration of War.

Bush invading a country he knew nothing about was stupid and arrogant. Trying to "one up" his father and appease the oil lobby and Cheney. He invaded based on blind faith. He is weak, and your blind faith in Bush is even more weak.

Typical outcome when emotions overrule sound judgement.

  • "The president's program-Trustee: act for the public good, regardless of popular opinion" (Wilson, American Government).

Iraq war is declared. Americans drive cars that use oil. President gets oil. Americans stop driving cars; President stops war. Do you drive a car? If yes, the job of the American President (whether Republican or Democrat) is to get your oil.

  • Better take a good look at 1993 and ask who supplied the explosives and who allowed it to happen.

Google: 1993 fbi world trade center

Also ask Barbara Bodine, the republican ambassador to Yemen, why she refused to let the FBI's top terrorism expert, John O'Neill, investigate the bombing of the Cole.

Ask Bush why he later rewarded Bodine with the governorship of Baghdad.

  • Elvis killed Lee Harvey Oswald, but he did not act alone, he was part of a conspiracy with J. Edgar Hoover's male live in "friend:" breaking news from a story leaked by the tooth fairy.

  • mott, that is such a lame response--are you too fightened to look at the information?

Better watch out, Al Qaeda gonna get you!!!

  • Not if they get you first.

  • lol, a fantasy organization scaring the pants off everyone--or is that just Bush's fantasy?

  • That's right, a fantasy organization; because MISTER Bush conspired to crash planes into WTC, Pentagon and Capitol building, right? There IS no Al Qaeda, it's all controlled by Halliburton, right? And it started with the Bohemian Grove and covered up by Skull and Bones, right? Using technology stolen from the aliens at Roswell and dispersed via the chemtrail program, right?

You're a nut. I feel sorry for you. Either get back on your medication or seek professional help. You need it.

  • Bush told some reporter today that he thinks God is guiding him, that is why he is so unreasonable...we are not going to be able to get out until we get him out of office, it will be one stall, one load of bullshit, after another until the end of his term...notice how the fear mongering is ratcheting up as congress presses him for answers to things he does not want to answer? ( congressional subpoenas )

  • Al-Qaida & Osama is in Pakistan but Bush won't go in and get them. why?

  • Politics. Politics in Pakistan. Supposedly if we put troops in Pakistan, the Musharraf administration would collapse. I've heard rumors that we have special ops guys in Waziristan (the mountain region near Afganistan) and certainly we've used airpower to back up the their Army as they battle Al Qaeda in Waziristan. They aren't very good though.

  • 9/11 is the only reason they are looking for Al Qaida (although i believe that the US government set up 9/11) yet there is no reason to be in Iraq, no reason to pursue Al Qaida, they have gone, GET IT!!!

  • Bush hasn't been right about anything yet. Let's give him more time, poor guy. He's got that legacy to consider.

  • human sympathy has no place in international conflict life is harsh, mistakes come at a price, for america i think if they arent careful the price tag could be more than greenback...

  • "Mistakes come at a price"??? Not in this administration, at least not yet.

  • At least this bimbo is betta to look at than George W ... but she tells the same sad story as him ..

  • She can also string ten words together into a coherent (if often deceptive) statement.

  • Dont take that as a personal attack yall its just a valid point of view from across the pacific

  • lol america is fucked. your war will manifest the bullshit your government told u about 9/11. but the thing is iraq was no threat to america inthe first place, your biggest enemies are the ones who dont say a word. this is why having a president with such a low IQ (and a general dumb ass republican government who cant see 2 days into the future) will be the end of america like all the great civilisations in human history. you may say history never repetes in ur country bu sitistically it does.

  • And I want to thank Austalia for enabling our president. And Phoney Blair. Thanks to your leaders also.

  • She ignores the fact that the US created a whole new hornets nest in Iraq. An entirely new threat to the US. Big mistake!

  • OMG. WE'RE ALL DOOMED. Listen dumbass, the hornets (terrorists) attacked us repeatedly throughout the 90's and we did nothing (thanks Clinton!). Then we actually got a President with balls who, when attacked, took the battle to the terrorists and their sponsors. It doesn't MATTER if our actions are used as recruiting tools for the enemy. The more idiots who flock to the banner of terror, the more TARGETS our troops have to shoot at. Don't you GET it yet? THIS IS A WAR.

  • The goal isn't to die for our country; it's to make the other dumb bastard die for his. We have the best, most high tech military on the planet. I like those odds.

  • Thank you, General Patton.

  • What you say is true...about Afghanistan. But Iraq never attacked us, nor helped attack us, nor had the capacity. How has Al Qaeda been hurt by the war in Iraq? Not at all.

  • Saf, Iraq was attacking us almost every month. I guess you weren't paying attention to all the times Saddam violated his cease fire treaty with us by firing at our jets patroling the No Fly Zone. But as to 9/11, notice I said terrorists and their SPONSORS. Like Afganistan and Iraq; like Syria and Iran. It's not called the War on TERROR for no reason!

  • Do you understand the difference between fighting terrorists and CREATING terrorists? The hornets that stung the US were from Afghanistan, not IRaq. Your "ballsy" president CREATED a big fat mess in Iraq. These "idiots" that flock to your so-called "banner of terror" wouldn't be joining Al Qaeda if not for the occupation. A completely unnecessary occupation.

  • voiyour - That was brilliant ! Excellent response !

  • Again, it doesn't matter if Al Qaeda uses Iraq as a recruiting tool. We'll kill them too. Hell, Osama used the First Persian Gulf war as a recruiting tool and so was Afganistan. They want to fight the Great American Satan. So we provided an easy way to do that while at the same time removing a threat. Now it's so much easier for them to attack our guys who's JOB it is to fight instead of innocent civilians here at home.

  • "We'll kill them too." Who do mean by "we"? Should I assume you're out patrolling in Iraq or Afghanistan?

"Now it's so much easier for them to attack our guys who's JOB it is to fight instead of innocent civilians here at home." Sounds like what you're really saying is that it's "our guys who's JOB it is to DIE."

  • Who do you THINK I mean by "we"? The Multi-National Force - Iraq, which the biggest consist of USA, Britain, South Korea and Australia. I'm guessing you aren't a citizen of any of those if you don't include yourself in "we".

No, I'm not saying it's their job to die. If you notice my Patton quote above (which you thanked me for), it's their job to make the other dumb bastard die for their ideology.

  • Intrusion10 -- so you don't see it as a problem that the US occupation of Iraq is CAUSING people to join alqaeda? People who otherwise would have no inclination to join a terrorist group. In your mind, that is a good thing because then "we" will have more people to kill?

You have elevated chickenhawking to a whole new level. Congratulations.

  • Did you really have to ask a question you already think you know the answer to? Is that the height of arrogance? I've already answered your question, above. Read it more slowly if you are having issues.

  • Look, if anyone is confused about the difference between creating terrorists but not fighting them, and creating terrorists but actually killing as many as possible, look at the body count.

Have any of you looked at how many suspected Al Qaeda we've killed in Iraq? It's hard to find those numbers. Googling took me an hour before I found "Terrorist Death Watch". Google it.

  • The guy has only been keeping track since last year unfortunately but you'll notice that the monthly totals don't fluctuate too badly. This lets you extrapolate to all 4 years of the war. I did it roughly and came up with 16,400 just in Iraq. Why doesn't the media keep track like this?

  • Intrusion10 -- you seem to have an obsession with "dying" and "killing" and "body counts" and "death watches" and relish the fact that the thousands and thousands of dead "don't fluctuate too badly." These are classic ACS symptoms (Acute Chickenhawk Syndrome). You should have that checked.

  • It's harder to extrapolate the total body count if the number of terrorists killed per month varied widely. That's what I meant by "don't fluctuate too badly". You still haven't answered my question: Why doesn't the media report how many Al Qaeda fu*kers we've killed?

  • Maybe because we haven't killed any.

We've murdered a lot of Iraqis, though.

  • Wow, your ignorance knows no bounds. Try educating yourself on this matter.
