Its not a huge difference, but in my opinion for this specific game Xbox has slighty better textures. The only thing I find significant is the lighting effects. Not contrast, but actual effects. The fire torch in the cell looks better on Xbox.

I think that both systems are excellent. I do prefer the 360 however because I prefer its exclusives to PS3 and I think that controllers on the xbox are far more comfortable whereas the Playstation controllers are too small!

This is a pointless comparison. This is a PC game that was ported to 360 due to pressure and Microsoft bribes. Then PS3 players got angry so Bethesda released a DLC-less version of Oblivion for PS3, to appease both Microsoft and PS3 players. At the end of the day, the PC wins and it's the version you should purchase. PCs have always been far superior to consoles though.

Beats the crap outta the console versions :)

Ok i have both systems and the game for each. You really can't tell the difference with graphics when you're sitting down and enjoying the game. The ps3 loads faster. You don't see the grass pop up like the 360 version. Really though, the game is so good that either version runs fine. Each console has it's perks. I just enjoy the ps3 version. Xbox seems a little TOO dark.

1. You're wrong, neither one of the systems are able to run native 1080p games, except in games with a low texture resolution for example Wipeout HD.

2. So what if the boxart claims something? It's not necessarily true. Look at GTA4; it says 1080p on the boxart, yet it's still upscaled 1080p, not native.

If Xbox 360 version had a bigger resolution than PS3, the differences would be more noticeable between the systems. While the PS3 version has a bigger drawdistance in this game.
