I shook his hand once when I was a kid, my Dad was alumni and had taken me to see the stadium. I met JoePa in the trophy room. My dad informed him I was a future Penn State Linebacker and you know what Joe said? "Son, you better hit the books, if you want to play for me." I will never forget that. Thank you for the inspiration and motivation. Rest easy JoePa the Great.
