pfft this is apple software copy.....gimme a break, if you work with a mac you'll see the exact same visual style, this is just a stupid copy of mac design.
Microsoft should be ashamed of this new windows, pc's will never be so reliable for work as a mac, even if microsoft copy the whole design...

Looks kind of like vista.
I still don't understand why people are blaming it. As long as you know to manage your system right, even the slowest systems can run like rockets.
for example, download updates regularly, trust me, guys at Microsoft know what they are doing. Secondly, defragment your drives once a month at least, use a program called "perfect disk"
keep your registery clean by using a program called "your uninstaller",and "Page Defrag"
also keep your startup software to minimum.

It's not quite like vista. The interface is different, Aero has been extended, *security* features (UAC), a bit more lax, features more customisable, improved compat. with devices, etc...
Defragging does help, whereas a lot of Updates just clog up your HD, so dont bother downloadin anything other that SPs and NetFrameworks...
It really all depends on your system specs
