@phillip78 I dont usually debate ...Although , what sparked my interest was that I lost a friend who was murdered tragically about a month ago . She was an atheist. Since then, ive been searching for answers to why she thought that way. Its very hard to wrestle with what I believe, and what she believed. She's DEAD !!!! Her murderer is still at large too, and I cant fix that. I cant make her motheror father feel better, or her brother. But, I also cant fix what I believe and feel is true.

The parable of the richman and Lazerus is a spiritual warning to the pharisees, and Matt 24 is more teachings about God's judgment on Judea and the destruction of Jerusalem. John in Matt 3:10 is another warning to the Jews. You have a religiouse view about sin, but when did you stop sinning? Or do you still sin and point fingers at sinners? Who are you to judge the nonbelievers, is that not Gods task?

@SwordofManticorE Hell is something I struggle with on a daily basis. A family friend in Dallas was murdered and torched alive in her car a week and a half ago , and she was an atheist . I was confronted by an old friend from school at her memorial , and and he was mad at me for my belief in Christ. How do I deal with these things ? I literally cry uncontrollably ! My wife read the lies of Mary K baxtor and she was devestated to think her sweet mother was in this nightmare of an underworld and I could do nothing to comfort her. Since then, ive been searching for answers to why she thought that way. Its very hard to wrestle with what I believe, and what she believed. She's DEAD !!!! Her murderer is still at large too, and I cant fix that. I cant make her motheror father feel better, or her brother. But, I also cant fix what I believe and feel is true.

You can hear in the videos their torment as they shout louder and louder " I am burning, I am burning, don't let me go!" You see it is appointed to men once to die and then the judgment. All those who die in their sin will be judged against the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. There is a heaven and a hell. Heaven is for righteous people made righteous through Jesus Christ

Read the whole book of Acts and see how many times Peter and Paul confront sin in presenting the gospel.

The parable of the richman and Lazerus is a spiritual warning to the pharisees, and Matt 24 is more teachings about God's judgment on Judea and the destruction of Jerusalem. John in Matt 3:10 is another warning to the Jews. You have a religiouse view about sin, but when did you stop sinning? Or do you still sin and point fingers at sinners? Who are you to judge the nonbelievers, is that not Gods task?

I was confronted by an old friend from school at her memorial , and and he was mad at me for my belief in Christ. How do I deal with these things ? I literally cry uncontrollably ! a. life wasn't given by some magical god..it gradually developed via abiogenesis.
b. i know i will biologically die..i merely believe that's the absolute end of me.

There is none who is righteous, not even one, there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God (just as you said itzahazylife) and it goes on to say there is none that is good, not even one.

To say law brings a man to Christ obliviates election by grace. John in another place says man with conviction of sin is still powerless to come to Christ. It must be a complete work of Spirit. But here he says it is law and Spirit. But the Spirit never works with law to dominate a man's life to save. And if your saved by law and grace and Christ etc. Christ did not exclusively save you but also your ability to hear law be convicted and repent not yet having yet the Spirit of grace, nonsense.

Seeing than there is a change of priesthood there remains a necessity to have a change of law. Heb7:12. The law was not disannulled but proven ineffective to reveal whom God is by Nature. So yea the law can convict a sinner but it cannot prove who the true God is in Holy Charcter. 480 years of old law never gave revelation to whom God is. So those who preach law preach condemnation or conviction of sin but never reveal Christ, who revealed God truly and is sufficient for both, sin and conviction

The point my friend, Buddism is only one of thousands of ways to try to obey rules of men. Christ is not about rules, No one can please God except through Jesus Christ. If you repent, trust in Him alone for righteousness, then His righteousness pleases His Father. You have no righteousness of your own, none, zero, notha. Look at God's chosen people, the Jews, they tried a righteousness of their own, they ended up slaves in Egypt, then Babylon took them away in hooks from their land.

@tienen23 No, you end up in hell because you reject Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior. You want to say you are a good enough person on your own to enter heaven, it's impossibe to please God, impossible. Repent, trust in Christ and Christ will please His Father for you. Only Christ can please God.

@Streetfisher No you end up in hell because you are out of covenant with the Father, you are not keeping His commandments. The child is not in a place to be blessed by the father when he is living apart from the fathers will.
When the prodigal son repented and became obedient to his fathers will, he was exalted and blessed by the father. Until he repented (had a change of mind) he was lost. Did this son do his fathers works to receive the blessing?
Your faith is dead without works.

This is heresy, law is not morality it is based on works John just said virtue of law is equal to God's Virtue but was never intended to be.It is not the leading factor of grace. @polopowers1 I don't think that is what John was saying about the law. I'm pretty sure what he was talking about it related to Romans when it talks about the law is what gives us knowledge of sin. The Law is there to expose us to our sin. Because we can never be 100% faithful to it. The law killed Paul meaning through it he recognized he has most definitely broken it and needs a savior/''Grace'' We need to understand the seriousness of our sin & bankruptcy to know that we need Grace to save us

@BrianP1203 I knew nothing about my sin in the light of whom God is.Being totally depraved I did not understand sin by law or any other way. Christ saved me I did not repent of every sin or know major sin by the laws reflection. Christ came to me as a gift of His faith not my reflection from law.Only when saved could I ever understand true repentance.Man is totally depraved before salvation and cannot see sin in law . @BrianP1203 The law shows we need grace.? Why didn't the old testament believers understand grace.? Christ preached exclusively without law by hIs Spirit the only conviction in the Church age. A guilty sinner is powerless under law to repent. The law preaches powerlessness but not equal virtue of whom God is by Nature, only Christ is equal Virtue to God not law. So those who think to introduce Christ by law may convict of sin. But they do not convict the Nature of God. by Spirit

State of imediate damnation.He is not waiting to be sentenced he is in line for execution. Rightly divide G. Christ is the end of the LAW to them that believe. the unbelieveing are under the curse.

The law was a school master yes unto Christ not continually to know Christ.Christ is greater Virtue for condemnation than any law.Grae and truth came by Jesus Christ not by law first.
