  • This is Holy crap. Many years ago, I personally check out the “Tiananmen Square massacre”, which I have many relatives living there. I examine the crime scene and spoke to the victims- student leaders. I found the story from the Chinese government is much closer to the real truth- a handful vs. massacre. A real wake up calls for me to see a huge Western propaganda machine at work.

  • Free China, Tibet and Xingjang!!!! let there be democracy and people power. 2011 May.

  • and how the evil soldiers abuse iraq prisoners :

Shocking video Abuse of Iraqi prisoners by British cops

    /watch?v=8TDkdUpyq7o

  • and how the evil soldiers abuse those prisoners :

Shocking video Abuse of Iraqi prisoners by British cops News

    /watch?v=8TDkdUpyq7o

  • f**ck BBC whoore, report with prejudice and only acceptance of students. before PLA started shooting, there had been many soldier injured with throwing stones, and bash, their wild action was getting out of control. everyone should check this video to know the truth of how those soldiers was burned to death, how cruel some students are! /watch?v=2Y6JK6WZi8Y and f**ck western media, you are truely the criminals behind this Massacre!!!!!!!

  • @massivetuber:

Do you realize how serious it is to "mass-kill" your own unarmed civilian population?

In Iraq, US troops are supposed to fight armed folks... and try to avoid civilian casualties, which makes a huge difference!!! And BTW, those armed folks don't hesitate to kill civilians... all for the greatness of whoever they pray!

  • @RaoulVDB2

Oh yea? What about the My Lai Massacre in Vietnam which is also orchestrated by your army where hundreds of innocent civilians were brutally murderd, tortured and sexually mutilated by your soldiers? I'm fine with both governments to be honest. I just have a problem against FUCKING HYPOCRITES!

  • Students violent protest made all diffrense how to handle it when jorperdized public sefety in stake

Remember in 1964, Texas student violent protest, American solder killed 4 students in the campus? same thing, same procedure

When silent majority stake is in danger

  • @fdoca

Well, the only difference being that 1) the protestors are not armed, 2) the protestors were fasting, not destroying stuff, 3) The soldiers had managed to kill hundreds if not thousands of protestors. And if you think all of that are appropiate, don't you find that firing ak-47s and trolling tanks through the crowd a bit... over-kill?

  • Wait till George Galloway hears about this.

  • It was never changed. Basically it's an old spelling of Beijing. In chinese is it pronounced Bei-jing, but the old way of writing it was peking. They changed the way of romanising and pronouncing Chinese a while ago. We just pronounced it wrong!

  • This may sound like a dumb question but when did China change the name of the capital from Peking to Beijing?

  • @Toyokawam Are you joking?

  • and yes, the innocent Chinese citizens were organized by the west to protest against the Chinese government. No one died in BJ in 1989. those videos and pictures are all made up by the west, probably the Hollywood.

  • This is not mass killing, what's happening in Iraq is.

  • Iraqi have USA to hate, but we can only beg our 老佛爺 not to kill us.

besides, 2,400 deaths is massive for me already.

  • It's not 2,400, it's about 300.

  • @german3chen the iraqis should be very pleased with the US for removing the madman saddam hussein

  • @german3chen my father was one of the protestors and he is very sure that the casualties do not exceed 1000, death toll should be something around 200

  • how r the two related at all??? did China send troops to Iraq also?

  • That's a very good question. US accuse China for mass killing in Beijing, but they never accuse themself for mass killing in Iraq.

  • a very good question deserves a good answer. getting the US involved does not justify China's mass killing, does it? u can keep accusing the whole planet, but it does not make the former Chinese government less guilty. the heroes deserve a fair redress. i can't figure out your position from your response. i just know that i love my country as much as any chinese, and that is why i can't stand the lies of government.

  • I can't stand those who lies about what really happend. The truth hurt, but it must be revealed.

  • Yeah, the government initially said that no one was killed, lol! Then they said that some were killed but they were mainly soldiers, fucking lies... And the students thouht they were safe because the army loved the people...

  • Yeah, the government initially said that no one was killed ON THE SQUARE, lol!

  • You should learn to read before you speak.

  • Why do you say that? If you're going to insult me at least back it up.

  • @dhgjas, the army are the people, dude. because at the time, the country was much much more liberal than 1976, the government has no preparation for this what so ever, they have to literaly tell the soldiers that there are thugs and spies in the crowd that is emotionally controling the students in order to unstablized China, or else they have no way to make the soldiers do anything about the students.

  • USA won't kill armericans

  • USA killed tons of americas, and will kill tons in the future.

  • @massivetuber uh... no

  • @massivetuber in the past, when Colombus first set foot in the North American continent, there was war with the natives. It's a dark time in North America's history, and nothing will ever make it right. As of today, people like me aren't content with the government, but we enjoy freedom of speech and the rights granted to us by the constitution, though they have been somewhat twisted as of late. But America has always been a nice place to live. I'd prefer to move to Japan, though.

  • The parents would never never kill their own children, but some insane ones, they do.

  • Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights in China !

  • was it normal to show picture slides during the headline bed at this time.

i thought it was usually the newsreader shown at this time?

  • reducing population has started

  • I didn't know Khomeini died on the same day as the Tiananmen massacre happened. One step forward on step back.

  • Not only that. There were Polish elections where the Communists were all voted out. In Russia there was a train crash that killed hundreds. Really big day.

  • Tiananmen Square protests are ended in Beijing by People's Liberation Army. Many people are killed.

Solidarity's victory in the first partly free elections in post-war Poland sparks off a succession of peaceful anti-communist revolutions in Eastern Europe and leads to the creation of the so-called Contract Sejm. Ufa train disaster: A gas explosion near Ufa, Russia, kills 575 as two trains passing each other throw sparks near a leaky pipeline.

  • If they can kill their own students, do you think they will hesitate to torture and kill us tibetans and other minorities?

  • Watched following videos:

-True Human Right Problems in Tibet and China Part 1

-True Human Right Problems in Tibet and China Part 2

  • iwandealhigh: being angry does not wash away china's blood stains from massacre of tibetans and chinese! His Holiness the dalai Lama killed? try that in china proper. maybe you might get some buyers. not in the free world asshole! but that the chinese killed their own parents during the cultural revolution.. led by that butcher Mao.. is not disputed.. even by many chinese who suffered because of that bullshit!

  • so the Chinese media said...u've been brainwashed.

  • there are manipulation and spins in media reports in any countries. just a few editing on the footage and some political comments can change the whole story. so dont just assume that chinese media is brainwashing, and western media is fair.

  • sure, some western media are very opinionated and even falsify information. luckily there are many different news organizations through many channels all over the world help people draw their best conclusions. it is perfectly fine for the government to report news in whichever way it deems appropriate, but it really makes people mad when it cuts off the signal when the HK news that has different opinions from the central government. every government can improve, but i really want mine does now.

  • well, i dont know where you are living, which city or which town in China, but when I was living in China I always saw people criticising and disgussing government issues and policies on tv. Specially on Phoenix channel. and they were never cut off.

  • what is really bothering me it's the politics exams in which we must write down the government's political views and pretend that those are our own in order to pass, and they are pain in the butt because those statements r far off. u can call it something else if u don't like the word "brainwashing," but it is definitely not an assumption. i know i can't afford to go to the front line and protest against that. i just went on my own way and accept whatever scores i deserve.

  • I know there are a lot of to be done still, and there are a lot of flaws too, but improvement is happening, Most chinese people are looking forward to it, and they want a improving but also stable and safe country. raising conflicts and sectarianism is not every chinese people would like to do. but those beviours are a part of democracy, so you can still do whatever you want, just dont raise hatred and destiblize normal people's lives.

  • Very smart comments. We wish you well in speaking against tyranny, but be careful too. Governments everywhere don't respect the people... we have to speak up in whatever way we can, but be smart about it too.

  • "butcher Mao". LMAO, ironic thing is that Tibetans and many minority groups idolise and respect Mao FAR more than the majority Han people. Because Mao advocated equal rights for all ppl in China and brought the minority groups in to the government and even gave them preferential treatment. Your precious Dalai Lama has met with Mao and shows him great respect. Rofls.

Keep living it up in America, the West or whereever you are and keep riding on that "free Tibet" bandwagon that they feed you!

  • Cunt.

  • y call me a cunt for ?

  • Tibetans idolising Mao?

Now that is funny. Maybe you forgot about the mass starvation caused by moron Mao.

  • tezin7777

once again going around spewing lies and propaganda for the tibetan cause, pathetic tibetan fanatic, fundamentalist propaganda agent, how's your other tibetan buddy dorge168.

  • lol tenzin, can't respond to that fact can u ?

  • Today's Comfort Women: Starving women escape from North Korea to find food. Chinese criminals know the Chinese government will send them home to be executed, if reported. So they force them to be prostitutes.

  • about the issue of korean scholars, they said korean history more than 9 thousands years, the domain of koran ancestor include whole China(include Sinkiang Tibet Taiwan),korean was the oldest race in Asia---Even the world. Im not joking, those publish by korean scholars. Do u believe?

  • ozzywong ---->

    1. Compare your new posts and old posts. You just contradicted yourself (hint: on the issue of the Iraqi War).

    2. I'm not an expert on Asia. But Koreans and Vietnamese scholars have said, in their publications, that China did invade these two countries but failed....

  • I said Iraqi war be propitious to US was on the side of American politician. actually...all of us was the member of anti-war. 'coz war just continued of politics a game of politician

  • Our religions? Confucianism. We could not plunder for what...We were an autarky nation before Qing dynasty. Chinese behind the occidental from 1405 on. I just wanna prove the Jingoism of occidental. and i think american should say thanx to Bush, 'coz he defend the US's interest.if i was american, was president, I will warring to iraq too, coz i should be a eligibility politician ! ps: my opinion was the non-mainstream in China......Trust me~

  • ozzywong-->

I cannot emphasize this enough. Most Americans are not stupid and narcissistic. We are against wars and not really interested in "rescuing" other people and ending up being accused of an "aggressive" country.

    Trust me~

  • ttiiyy

u are really friendly, but u do not udstd the Chinese's thought. Do u know Zheng He? He was a navigator in Ming dynasty(A.D.1405), Korean and Vietnanese were dependencies of Ming dynasty at then. He have no colonize the land(whole south east asia,India,Persian Gulf, east Africa) where he conquered like Spanish and English. We lost the chance to control ocean. Why he give up the chance?

  • American was freedom and developed states in a common Chinese young guy's mind, they love american rock and hollywood, gossip Paris Hilton like jp and kr. America in Chinese means a beautiful country.did not match the "Evil" by ur post. intervene the policies? our autarch try to show the power of China(GDP NO.4)Chinese need to change a image of low-grade, right? of coz the point was shoot for interest!

  • The world is not just about China. Countries like India and Vietnam are rising, too. Hello~

P.S. China was not exactly a peaceful country back then. I've heard Vietnamese and Koreans criticizing China about how arrogant the country was, especially the way the Chinese emporers and diplomats attempting to intervene the domestic policies of these two countries back in the old days and even now.... Ha, ha, just like us, you Chinese are not very good at making friends, either.

  • More importantly, in my first post, I already recognized that most Chinese consider western countries "evil," so you did not have to remind me of that.

And besides, don't get offended by the statement, "who gives a sh** about China?" We are not obligated to pay attention to what's happening in China. As long as China's not planning to hurt the US, trust me, I do not give a sh** about the way Beijing treats its civilians. It does not have anything to do with us Americans.

  • ya,of 'coz i know so many quetions(environmental problems, human right,Democracy...)but they could not stop China's growing,Beijing will be the center of the earth like history! Chinese will be best splendid nation in the world again! just remenber, it is AGAIN!

  • i am sure china will be the next super power. what people here are most concerned is the living conditions and rights of the poor and powerless, which is the majority. don't forget what China's wealth is built on.

  • The next superpower will be the same as the old superpower: International corporations allied with governments that serve them and not the people.

  • Maybe we Americans should just stop feeling sorry for those Chinese yearning for democracy because most Chinese do not want the sympathy from evil western countries. Everytime, we criticize Beijing, a lot(and I do mean a lot)of patriotic Chinese will immediately gather a lot of "facts" to demonize us. You know what, who gives a s**t about Chinese? Haven't we made enough mistakes? The Korean War, Hello?

  • i knew we control by a tyrannical gov,but GOV could not control the thought!i think we should give a eyes on history if you wanna keep to the contention.Chinese were pacifism along all the history,We have no aggress any countries, even if the Han and Tang Dynasty.BUT, what ur ancestor did in 19th century in orient? who made war in iraq? Americans rescue iraqi from bondage or autarchy? F**kin' shit! aggressiveness runs deep in the national consciousnes, even if occidental ostensibly civilization!

  • ozzywong-->

You probably don't know this since you're living in China. But approximately more than 50% Americans were against the Iraqi War.

Frankly, I am not interested in what's happening in Iraq. The religious groups in Iraq had been killing each other, and our stupid president dragged American young men and women into it.

    It was a stupid war.

  • But we still trade with them

  • People in China are brainwash by the Chinese communist and thinking that the Communist shooting the student were doing this for the benefit of their people.

  • good coverage.

  • i'm a chinese young guy, i KNEW the truth when i was childhood. profit from the internet, 'coz the internet no boundary. Any chinese in mainland detest autarchy, but reformation stopped by dictator in June 4th 1989...the new generation(1980s) will be hope in future.

  • Rock on, ozzywong.

  • Nice see another media cover what happened during June 4 1989. Thanks for posting.

  • Absolute disgrace, and showed how cowardly Western Governments are by turning a blind eye

  • Sama shit we saw today made by USA, UK and russia and israel

  • And I suppose the Chinese government will be banning their own people from knowing the truth, even now. F***ing scum!
