Laguiole "Nature" knife by Fontenille Pataud

I received my Nature knife this week. I can say with complete assurance that this is top quality item, and that Gilles and his team are creating a luxury product and a luxury experience. The action to open and close are smooth as silk, and the customer service is honest and personal. I own a number of Laguiole knives, and love them all. But my Fontenille is truly one of a kind.

@druisteen2 For a lady? You haven't nay, for sure. Sheferds from the Pirynees chain of mountains used them for centuries and their main use is for lunch outdors, not cutting tree branches and so on. For this last kind of use there are "hunting Lagioles", not so elegant but stronger.

These blades are wonderful, i owned one about 20 years ago, given to me by a relative, lost it hunting, i went back looking it for it for days, till the first snow came, i really miss it, one of the best small game knives there is. i all but forgot about them till a few years ago i saw one on knifeforums, i raced to the site, my god the price, with nine kids i will have to save many pennies to replace it, some day. love the knives, thanks for the vids. have a great day.
