Must say I really like that whole idea of not having that darn tail rotor so close to the ground during an emergency landing.

Its really sad the turmoil that the MD series has suffered due to corporate issues, its an excellent piece of well thought out engineering.

I hope that the engineers can nail the issues that the craft has, there is bound to be a solution.
