Not everything in BS is true..only MOST of it...they were wrong about the environmentalists but completely correct about PETA. College is not BS 'cause I go to college and most people who never been to college are really stupid (no offence) but I have met non-college people who are extremely intelligent as well... P& B tends to be biased at times ..not always but sometimes.

He was the leading orator of his day -- the VP of the Confederacy, and its most impressive speaker. SO go fucking read what HE said -- he discusses the history and reasons for slavery, how it was the OVER RIDING principle of the South.

They didnt allow free elections or freedom of speech -- even for whites dumb ass. A white could be HUNG for having anti slave book, a black could be burned for it.
Lincoln was not even allowed on the ballot in deep south in 60.

The reason for the Civil war wasn't JUST about slavery and slavery was only one of the issues...in FACT it started BECAUSE the south decided to succeed. The south is about REBELLING against the north..not just about slavery..in fact..slavery was just ONE of the smaller reasons.

He thinks we whites have a single historic identity. He doesn't stop to think about the massive changes we went through in Europe under the spread of Christianity. As much as I know about my background, I feel no 'spiritual' connection to it. It's good information though and I think European derived people should work to at least have a better sence of their history as it DOES explain how and why we are the way we are today.
