Just stay leaning back till you get all the way on the top of the water and you are gliding. Once that happens then you can start to stand up and turn to the side. Keep your legs pretty much straight once you are up and all your weight on your back foot.
@leonard8998 try to flex your abs, and get your chest out of the water, keep your whole body tight. Also, try to turn your board fowards faster, dont stay sideways too long or you just sink then fall foward, once you start getting up, turn foward then stay balanced.
i used to fall forward to when my board cept sinking but i was told to stay back and stay in a ball and really keep ur knees bent and i got up!

When I tried to get up, the board turns to the side and i fly forward.
