@animexluvr1 the other files are important too. Last game is if u want to play a game that u just played last for example u played gta 4 and u lost the cd and forgot to install it so click last game and it should load it up.

1. Yeah when u jailbreak you can run emulators, hacks, mods etc

2. To make this work u need to jailbreak it or hack it. Do this at your own risk!!

3. Yes it does affect things because they might patch it and it might not let you play the backed up games

4. Yes u can play online

There was only 1 version and they made every 1 update but there were some ways to get by it other than that u cant downgrade or jailbreak but like u said if u use a torrent ull need 2 put it on a external hdd (hardrive) and use multiman and upload it to that and then u can play it. And u can use psn store etc.

@Bboy2436 well if you go to my other tutorial it shows how 2 download games and those games need to be put on an external hard drive. When you put it on a hard drive you put it into multiman and you copy them onto your ps3. I don't know if copied games will work.

grand theft auto 4 disc but when i load the game it exits me out of xmb or whatever

i put silent hill as the dummy disc i scroll the game icon but its not there

@Bboy2436 ok this is what i told some 1 else if you used geohots and it doesn't work try 2 get the most recent file of mutli man that is compatible with ur software and console fat or slim. If it still doesn't work then update to normal/ offical 3.55 download it from online and then download some one else's jailbreak and re install multiman and it should work.

how do i put and play ps3 games by hooking up a external hard drive here is were i'm at

i format a 320gb verbatim to fat 32 plugged it to ps3

i put a folder name GAMEZ with a downloaded game inside the ps3 dev hddo

what do i do next how do you play the game all that shows up is the data file i don't see the game in the menu not the Xcross menu but the menu where u scroll the games in multiman

only in the data section where u transfer the game

i even tried gaia manager and applied the lv 2 patch

the game does show up but when i launch the game from the usb or hddo

it doesn't even show me the part when it ask if i want to exit to xmb or stay

it takes me out to xmb by itself but the game i wanted isn't there

i even have a dummy disc in to play the game but

i also downloaded another game that is disc-less

so it should play?

thanks for all your help i finally figured out what was wrong

it was 1 extra folder the BLEU-xxxx was in that the ps3 wasn't able to read you wouldn't think twice that that was the problem because you can copy the actual file over from the directory

someone mind telling me what im doing wrong i backed up ninja gaiden sigma 2 game then took out the disc to make sure its running properly i load the game from multiman it does a few screen flickers and returns me to the xmb area its a problem because ive got tales of vesperia ps3 version waiting to be moved to the ps3 but i dont wanna bother wasting my time since it may not work.

i have only tried playing ratchet and clank crack in time backup on my ps3 so far but it freezes after 5-15min of loading it on multiman once it even freezed before i got to open it? but when im playing it with disc it works just fine.. anybody have similar problem? or maybe its just ratchet and clank? maybe other games wouldn't freeze? let me know what you think!
