Camp motion pictures recently released a 4 disc dvd box set with Video Violence 1 and 2 Captives, The Basement and Cannibal Campout. It's all Over Ebay for right around $20. Awesome..great review man..they just need to release The Abomination and Lunch Meat and we're all set..

Your review is just about the only relative thing I could find on the internet about the movie..that box set is in the mail headed my way right now..thanks a lot..your videos are informative and a lot of fun.

twistedanger has Captives/Mama's Home on their dvd section. I have no idea if its the ones you reviewed or the original that GPC did. It's weird, since the title's under "Captives", but the video cover is "Mama's Home". So I don't know.

Thanks for the review, Paul! Very cool. Who knew CAPTIVES would be the Holy Grail of 80's SOV! By the way, we had nothing to do with the artwork; our artwork is quite different. I only have one copy of the Majestic travesty. Any way, the CAMP release will have some director commentary, and will be mixed properly. Give a listen to the December podcast from CAMP.

I'm on the Captives board, and Cohen posted something about a week ago, regarding Camp Motion Pictures. According to the post, CMP will be releasing the original cut of Captives (as part of a five-movie package, which would also include the two Video Violence movies). Go check out the imdb discussion board,and you can read the full thing.
