  • Baby babay!!! I got a right!!!

  • Birth of punk.

  • every time i hear this song i want to cry, there is more perfection going on here than should be humanly possible. why the hell dont guitars sound like this anymore.

  • @newwavepop only ancestors knew what was up

  • THIS should 've been all over FM in those years, instead of the prissy, Laid-Back/Mellow Fascism of the likes of CSN( Solo or together ) / Heart / Loggins & Messina / Starship / the Eagles / Jackson Browne / Bonnie Raitt / Little Feat / James Taylor / Poco / Linda Ronstadt / Ry Cooder, etc, etc, that ruled the airwaves then, and audiences too brainwashed by that culture,to get it, and smugly condescended it.

  • this song is to underated...

  • @skrobonja32 No shit ??!

  • offspring coverrr kickk so much ass !!!

    long live to punk music

  • Offspring does a great version of this

  • @cheezkid true but the misfits has a way better version of them But no one can top the original FUCKYEH!

  • Arguably the best rock-song ever.

  • iggy and the stooges arent hard to beat.they are impossible to beat...

  • might just be me but i tend to find that good rock and roll and good punk rock are more or less one and the same.

  • Ultimate.

  • This is too hardcore to be an american band. I think that, Detroit is somewhere in Europe.

  • @aivopark Yes because so many *great* hardcore bands have come from Europe like........like...........The Exploited! Ahem. Europe needs to get over it with their punk delusions of grandeur, there were some great bands for sure but the US gave the world the Ramones and the Stooges. Game, set, match.

  • @aivopark Dude, Detroit has always been harder and faster than anyone else. While the rest of the country was into Flower Power hippie shit we were churning out The Stooges and MC5, we had one of the first Hardcore punk scenes, and we saved the rest of the country in the 2000's from the Fall Out Boys and Limp Bizkits with The White Stripes, Dirtbombs, and Von Bondies.

  • @mohawk1020 And then Jack WHite saved us from the Von Nondies by punching that dude OUT

  • basic, basic, basic punk aesthetics. I'm gonna do what i want, and you can't and won't do shit about it.

  • Yes! This is what punk is all about! Brings back great memories, I used to play this all the time when I was 11... And I still do to this day!

  • offspring actually did a great cover of this

  • this is like the number one punk anthem ever. fuck what you heard

  • Can't be beat.

  • This song is really fuckin awesome!!! Thanks Iggy for this cool song! xD

  • Makes me proud to be from Detroit. Thanks to iggy, we invented punk!

  • PUNK ROCK for eva, til I die !!

  • along with 7and7 is by love and kick out the jams by mc5 and some new york dolls stuff up to the first ramones record there were loads of "punk" records they just hadnt catergorized it, even surf records and rockabilly good rock n roll music before everyone started singing about dragons and castles haha

  • I have revisited the stooges and they still rock

  • Punk Fucking Rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it was never released on their studio albums but it was released on the iggy pop million in prizes antholgy

  • @TFL123100 I had it on a cassette in the 80s called "I Got A Right."

  • This is the perfect track to wake yourself up in the morning- love you jim- and williamson -fastst guitarist on the planet- and that bass line it walks out the room. Rest in peace ron.

  • which album is it on? I have "the stooges" and im gonna get "fun house"

  • @desasterz Don't forget "Raw Power!"

  • I got a ride, every time I want to get a rattlesnake, honey what you say, every time you want, ride the moon, hey hey hey hey allrighght, do you feel it, did I hear it right, great sound in this one, style.

  • 1972...unbelivable!

  • iggy is a fuckin madman but u gotta love him

  • james williamson go

  • this song is the sperm in the the womb of rocknroll that gave birth to PUNK...I was listening to this in LA before the punk scene started.....

  • @osocali dont call it punk... that swhat un feel focussed people call it... hendrix was against viet nam war and when johnny rotten and Iggy and Dee Dee Ramone etc started making their statements, those who didnt get it called them punk to set them aside, like when people call Christians "religious" its just so they can put them down...

  • @osocali yes maybe the most punkish song of the stooges, fast, edgy, powerful, intense.

  • @osocali fuckin right

  • Damn this song kicks ass. It makes you wanna take a sledge hammer and destroy anything you see.

    R.I.P. Ron Asheton

  • i gotta right a right to move anytime i want any old time.class.
