D-link is far the best routers out there.. little expensive but is more stable than both belink and linksys.. they gave me headaches :S

If I setup a bridge connection from one wired router to the wireless router will I have to setup both router configurations or just through my wireless router?. Anyonw know please, I am receiving the router today and I am clueless with wireless hook up. Anything important to know about the DGL 4500 before I hook it up?. Please help me out, I will deeply appreciate the help, I am dumb when it comes to wireless setup.

i have a normal modem supplyed by ur isp and i was wondering will this router do viop as i use this for my home phone if so i will dief get this butif it dosent can i run this router off of my modem and just use my old modem for voip and run this off of it?

well I like the dir-855 better because it does 5ghz and 2.4ghz at the same time which the dgl-4500 doesn't do. But they are both great routers. But the Dir-855 cost alot more then the 4500.

He escuchado cosas no muy buenas de ambos routers y me gustaria saber la opinion de alguien que tengo uno de ellos y la diferencia entre ambos. No se mucho de routers. Si me podrias ayudar te lo agradeceria un millon.

@cpucrash0 That's exactly what i wanted to know. My current router which i have bought today is the D-Link DIR-855 and i had a hard time figuring out what the differences were between the 855 and the DGL-4500. They damn nearly are the same but you said that the 4500 does not do dual band at the same time. Also they look almost the same with the same gigabit ports and OLED screen. I'm happy i got the 855 and freaking love my new 855. D-Link is awesome. My older router was the DIR-635 D-Link FTW!

@GRiZLOC the answer is, they are both dual band, difference is DGL-4500 router is selectable, meaning you will choose.. but the DIR-855 router has its ability to give 2 wireless network at the same time (2.4 and 5),, and it does not interfere the signal^_^
