I have the same thing going on here in East Moline, Illinois. I have phone and internet. Everyday the internet drops to .02 mbits down. Mediacom SUCKS and I can't wait for AT&T to run fiber optics in my area.

The internet shuts down 24/7 all the time, and with the cable, on demand wont even work half the time -.- . and when they come over to "fix" it ,the problem goes away for a few days then comes back as bad as ever. Even if they are the only alternative i would not waste the money on them.

I have been held hostage by mediacom for about a year. It's our only choice in our new home. The installer was an idiot and did hundreds of dollars worth of damage. We had to hire someone wlese to finish the TV install in every room. I still have holes he drilled in our expensive floor about 13" from the wall the main TV is on. The TV works almost all the time.

I feel your pain about mediacom I live in Des Moines, Iowa and i have Mediacom my contract just ended with them so i called in to get a new deal so i wouldn't be paying the $163. a mo they said i would still get every thing the same and the price of $109. for 2 yrs without it going up i got my first bill and it was $127. so i called them and now they tell me my internet speed has went from 20 to 5 and that after 12 mos it will raise to $139. .... Turned them into the State lawyer ..Still waiting
Every day it's something different with these dipshits. We didn't have TCM all day yesterday and today the public stations don't come in. Usually all you can find is "Paid Programs" on there. It's funny that they don't have problems. If this shit noservice didn't come with my rent, I sure as hell wouldn't be paying for it. Absolutely the worst cable I've ever seen.
We had Direct TV and cancelled our service because they did not provide local channels, consequently we owe them over 300 dollars for this as appears in small print in their contract. Through Mediacom we were without internet and phone service for three months and for a month now we only get four channels with their cable boxes. Thanks for this opportunity to rage endlessly about this problem.
I think it's right that you have a whole Channel for this issue even if you just have one video. There needs to be as many sites on the internet as there can be to let Mediacom know our dissatisfaction with their products. I live in a small town in South Georgia where there are few options for internet, phone and television service. We also have a limited income with only prepaid credit cards which Dish network will not use.

@rjtharp2 i dont know where i fall on my line, but my quality is fine. i have no splitters on the line (directv for the TV side) and ive had anywhere from 30-100% packet loss several times in the last 2 months. every single time, it's occurring at the hop between Mediacom and the ATT backbone i apparently ride. if you look @ the registered AS's for Mediacom, it'd appear as though I dont even fall in a Mediacom AS. if i lost you: it means there's zero redundancy on mediacoms/my upstream.
So true! My internet has been down 6 times in the past 2 days for hours at a time, and when there is a problem, they just put out a message saying " we are aware of the outages in your area." Mediacom DOES suck.

If i browse and watch any other video sites it buffers and loads the whole video in under 3 seconds. but, if i even TRY to open my gmail and watch a 240p youtube video it stops buffering and gmail never even get's to load before getting a timeout error...

I agree with you...I live in Mobile, Alabama and my internet service through Mediacom is always dropping out 2-4 times a day. They do suck!!!!! Only reason I still have them is because there is no other high speed internet service available to me...I called AT&T and they don't serve my area. Any other company has to be better than Mediacom.

Mark me up as one that has had enough of the mediacom lies. We were without internet for over a week, and of course they always want to blame the customers house wiring.
So today they sent a home tech and I told him to not even bother checking the house and pointed him to the box out in the yard. He tested the line at the street and it was dead. So they sent out one of the higher end field techs, and all of a sudden I'm getting my full 12 kbps, not a half hour later i'm back at 1 kbps cont
Mediacom's cable TV sucks worse. Every day almost there is something wrong. Either the picture is all pix-elated, the sound breaks up or the station doesn't come up at all. They did away with a preview channel. The disservice come with my rent or I would have fired them long ago.
My Mediacom internet and phone works great. During the winter that is. But as soon as it starts to get just a LITTLE warmer out, it keeps crapping out on me. And that really sucks, because summer is when I use internet the most. We've called the repairman over to fix it 3 times! It works for about 2 days after he leaves, and then it starts crashing again.
I have Mediacom and it took me over 5 minutes to load this 1.5 minute video. Oh, and I was on the lowest possible quality setting of 240p. I do live in a rather large apartment building, but still, at 11:45 on a Wednesday night, I shouldn't have to wait anywhere CLOSE to 5 minutes to load a 1 minute video on the lowest quality setting. I had nothing else running in the background that would hog the Internet, either. Hurray for superfast Mediacom cable!!!
I've suffered with the Mediacom monopoly in my town for over six years now. Absolutely terrible. Constant Internet outages; they used to occur two or three times a month. They have now increased to every other day or so. Most last for a few minutes. However, the latest was from 8 am Mar 5 2011 until 3 pm Mar 6 2011: over 36 hours total. When I called to complain, the customer service rep said, "Only a national disaster would cause a service interruption of over 24 hours." Liar.
I'm a System Technician for Mediacom. A little input on this, it all depends on the wiring in your house. The service is good but what makes or breaks the way your service works is how well the in- house tech did his job. If u have any doubts, request a full rewire and if it doesn't work well after that, then it gets passed off to guys like me who are in the maintenance department to make sure the plant is running correctly.
@psmith67 I have all new wiring in the house. still have problems 1 or 2 times a month sometime 4-5 most of the time all i have to do is power cycle modem but this is once a year maybe but not 30-40 times a year new modems still happens service calls to the house still happens. either they dont find and problems at all or just a tweek. Not all mediacom people are idiots but they have alot of them. why do i have to work on my mediacom system to make it work.

methinks if there are THIS many comments on this video there's more to this than just a few whiney customers! I know there are problem areas for every company. I live in one. Mediacom KNOWS this is a problem area and they can't fix it. So that begs the question why do they sell service to an area they know they can't provide it to? Ive "worked with" Mediacom for years since there's no viable alternative to their service in my area. It's gotten me nowhere. I realize I live in one of those 'problem areas' but does that make me a less valuable customer? Seems to me Mediacom would be much happier if I'd drop their service so they don't have to find and fix the problem.
I have seen some corrupt companies in my life but i have to say none as bad as this mediacom online. I first experienced my problem the 2nd month in and continuing since. Recently Its been almost two months of them promising to fix the issue but they still haven't. my neighbors all have a decent internet connection but my house is dead and they refuse to fix the problem. I intend to call the BBB and if necessary I will sue their asses for wrongful advertising and improper business management.
I have mediacom internet. I'm a gamer and mediacom kicks me off/out every 15-30minutes it's horrible. Mediacom makes me hate everything around me. My suggestion don't buy it.
This video speaks truth. Our service has gotten progressively worse over the years, even after multiple calls and servicemen coming out who supposedly "fixed the issue".
We're also looking into alternatives, and DSL is sounding like our best option now.

I've been calling support in my area almost everyday and they say there is no problem. They schedule a tech, I get a call from my local office saying there is an area problem. I wish there was some competition in my area. I'd switch pretty quick. Had Mediacom for 4 years and the service goes down constantly, speeds have never been as advertised (not ever) and support @ the 800 number is clueless about area-wide problems. Worst cable company I've ever had.

I have mediacom internet, and it never works, it constantly kicks me off. I have never talked to anyone that has had a good experience w/ them. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment and mediacom services are included in my rent, so I don't have a whole lot of choice in the matter. Last month, they billed me three times within a week w/ different amounts and all of them were wrong. I called twice, and they were no help, so i drove all the way to their office...basically, they suck!!
I contacted tech support and they said they'd have it fixed in two weeks. 1 year later it still fails. I sent e-mails and medicom sits idly on their asses and does nothing.

@darthdemain You say "help us solve problems", Mediacom don't do shit when it comes to 'solving problems'. They ignore them, run rigorous test like going to speedtest, you know things that the customer can and in many cases probably already have done, and that's about it. It isn't about a service being 'perfect', it's about a service running and when it doesn't the provider should fix it. When the provider refuses to fix the fucking problem, bitching becomes a warning to would be buyers.
I've called a few times and been given the brush off by tech support with my internet connection. Why? Because "we only support Windows XP and higher" and "don't support USB." So if they find out you don't have ethernet and XP or higher, they won't help you, except to tell you to upgrade. Another time I had someone tell me that they only supported Internet Explorer. Usually they are helpful, but occasionally they know jack squat
Do you run Linux or something? Surely you aren't on a Windows version older than XP? That would be... really hilarious, amongst other things.
And in fairness Linux is pretty complex (and varies a lot between distros from what I gather) so it's no real wonder they don't provide support for it.
Anyone can work at tech support. just tell people to power cycle their modem, or send a technician out to their house. you don't need to know anything else about computers to work for media com. to be fair, many other times I've gotten somebody who actually knows something about computers and is happy to help, even spending as much as a half hour on the phone until I got things working. so it's totally hit and miss

A couple of years ago my internet was out for almost a month, it was really hard to get in touch with someone from mediacom, once we did and they scheduled a time to fix it, they wouldnt show up, when they did show up, they did a VERY half assed job, and went out again a couple months ago but luckily we had laptops this time, and our phones have completely stopped working.We are also scheduled to lose ABC and our local news. Mediacom is CRAP

@valentine1427 There is a different story every time. The main problem now is outages that hit the entire neighborhood. They apparently have some very old lines and equipment which are having frequent problems.
@mediacomsucks LOL!!!! I have had problems with our internet for years, and they told us the same shit! Most of these guys that come out to service are so inexperienced, and the customer service (depending on the time of day) is usually someone foreign that barely speaks or understands english, and basically just reads you stuff from a cue card. They pretty much have my area locked up, we can't get any other service here.
the trouble is the vast difference between technicians. apparently they tell them nothing except give them a script that says "1. power cycle modem 2. send somebody out to put in a new modem." You get a different story every time.
i've had mediacom for about 2 years now, and i have never had better service, and now that mediacom has the 105mbps internet, it makes it one of the best internet providers. I know if u want the best, then u usually pay for the best, and from the looks of it, this dude probably doesnt have the money needed to have a great service provider!

I used to work for mediacom as a tech and was fired for trying to give costumers quality installations, well mediacom want's techs to give quantity rather than quality. Also Mediacom came to my house and filed a police report against me and I was just recently charged with Cable Theft a class A misdomenor. I hate those fuckers on a level you could never imagine.
I have MediaCom phone, internet and cable and it all works great. I have heard people complain about every cable company in every city I have ever lived, so it doesn't surprise me that people complain, but I think MediaCom have great service.
I just dislike their "Installations". Granted the cable is a little bit of a bitch to hook up. But goddamn, I had to wait 4 days so a technician could come to my house and "Install" my internet. I laughed so fucking hard at this; $10 so they could plug in a 5 ft. long Ethernet cord from my black box to the Ethernet port on my laptop, and then enter my account number into the web settings.I walked the goddamn technician through it! 10 minute job I had to wait 4 days on.

Yeah mediacom is horrible. They call me everyday to sell me phone but I don't want it. Their internet modems go bad and the download speed gets ridiculously slow...under 1mbps... which is around 10% of what they advertise.

my billing account information is non existent right now. for 2.5 weeks so far. and since i live in a apartment complex that does the internet thru the rent they obviously cant tell me anything. then. i finally was able to get them to send a tech. what happens? the tech never calls or shows. and my ticket with mediacom was closed. so yea......fuck these people. tomorrow im heading to the local office to raise hell.
dont get voip if not in a well developed area, learn about the new technologies, companies cant educate customers on what the system is, you need to do that, its not plug and play, this isnt usb, its voice and data traffic
I called them to set up a service call. They told me between 8AM-12PM Thursday. That morning while I was in the shower 7:32 AM the tech called with a blocked number, Caller ID said "Out of Area".... When I checked my message the tech said "This is Mediacom service tech, Since you did not answer we will have to reschedule your service, Call customer service"...I called them and they said I have to wait another week. Not my fault I was in the shower before 8AM.....Fuckerz!
For me for starters we got a deal where we have internet,phone, and cable from mediacom. our phone and internet go through a modem. and when we lose our internet that makes us lose our phone. well our internet goes out AT LEAST 3 times a day and then when its back it just crawls making it take minutes 2 upload 1 page. if ur thinking about getting mediacom ur an idiot and if u r using mediacom get another provider these guys r trash
Mediacom was out around Ottumwa area last night. 10+ hrs.!! I was PISSED!! They need to get an AMERICAN made box and get the workers to fix the problems ahead of time.

Mediacom works great for me. The internet is a lot faster, and the tv is pretty good. The tv didn't quite work at first but after a while it started to.
Nice to see there are other people out there like this. We've gradually been downgrading how much we get from them. We're now in the process of switching.

Well for one when your internet on mediacom goes out it means your mediacom phone goes out. Our phone is hooked into a cable modem then it goes through cable lines. I only have had once that we lost service. I live in Dubuque,IA but im having second thoughts about mediacoms services nice video I think your totally right.
Internet is slow. I have never to get anywhere close to the advertised speeds. Phone service goes out twice a weak. Internet is unstable. One hour it is fast (but not that fast), the next hour it's really slow. Sometimes the internet doesn't work at all and when our internet is out, our phone goes too. When there is a little bit of rain or dark clouds, we get poor TV Signal, Horrible quality products. We have replaced the DVR 3 times in the past 3 years and the remote 7 times.
I am sorry you all are having such bad experiences. The technology that you have installed in your homes is pretty new, so I suspect that the installers that you had to hook you up probably did not know much about the types and amount of signal needed, let alone the quality of signal. On the surface, without being at your homes, I suspect a low signal issue. This is very common. If you go to my channel and give specific symptoms, I may be able to help. It's what I do every day! I agree. Mediacom's net would be down about 6 hours a day (from4-10 ) they get rid of 3 stations every month,but kept going up on the price. They charged my granny $98 for cable/net then hiked up to $172 for crap that wasnt workingand fewer channels. Digital would die about half a week. We switched over to CNS. ^^ No probs from them ^^

Oh Yeah...we lived in mid-Illinois when we had Mediacom for phone, internet, AND cable TV. the TV was okay, but the other two, went out CONSTANTLY. Medicom sent out and replaced our cable modems 3 times...3 different modems...we finally just ended up having to reset the modem each time it decided to stop giving us access to the outside world as a whole...we have Comcast now that we live in the Chicago 'burbs, and barely have ANY issues.
Comcast in chicago rocks... hands down. I miss it... my mediacom is complete shit... I have a 150 kbps upload speed right now. how it can support VOIP with that upload is amazing... oh wait, it can't, my phone's not working...

We just got Mediacom about a week ago, and are already disapointed. I thought we were one of the only people having this problem. We got the bundle, with Phone, Internet, and Cable for one cost. The phone goes out at least 5 times a day, the internet goes out even more than that, plus, when the internet goes out, the phone does too! Also, the cable 'tiles' all the time, and when we call them to come fix it, they send some bum out who has no idea what he is doing.

Ridgecrest here. Mediacom is terrible, pay $65/month for UP TO 12/1, average speed of 4mbps and 100-200ms.
There's nothing to switch to either, all we have is roadrunner or mediacom. Need some fios before I die of shit service.

I feel your pain about mediacom I live in Des Moines, Iowa and i have Mediacom my contract just ended with them so i called in to get a new deal so i wouldn't be paying the $163. a mo they said i would still get every thing the same and the price of $109. for 2 yrs without it going up i got my first bill and it was $127. so i called them and now they tell me my internet speed has went from 20 to 5 and that after 12 mos it will raise to $139. .... Every day it's something different with these dipshits. We didn't have TCM all day yesterday and today the public stations don't come in. Usually all you can find is "Paid Programs" on there. We had Direct TV and cancelled our service because they did not provide local channels, consequently we owe them over 300 dollars for this as appears in small print in their contract. Through Mediacom we were without internet and phone service for three months and for a month now we only get four channels with their cable boxes. Thanks for this opportunity to rage endlessly about this problem.

I think it's right that you have a whole Channel for this issue even if you just have one video. There needs to be as many sites on the internet as there can be to let Mediacom know our dissatisfaction with their products. I live in a small town in South Georgia where there are few options for internet, phone and television service. We also have a limited income with only prepaid credit cards which Dish network will not use.

@rjtharp2 i dont know where i fall on my line, but my quality is fine. i have no splitters on the line (directv for the TV side) and ive had anywhere from 30-100% packet loss several times in the last 2 months. every single time, it's occurring at the hop between Mediacom and the ATT backbone i apparently ride. if you look @ the registered AS's for Mediacom, it'd appear as though I dont even fall in a Mediacom AS. if i lost you: it means there's zero redundancy on mediacoms/my upstream.

ive come to realize that mediacom throttles youtube and google.
If i browse and watch any other video sites it buffers and loads the whole video in under 3 seconds. but, if i even TRY to open my gmail and watch a 240p youtube video it stops buffering and gmail never even get's to load before getting a timeout error...

Only reason I still have them is because there is no other high speed internet service available to me...I called AT&T and they don't serve my area. Any other company has to be better than Mediacom.

Mark me up as one that has had enough of the mediacom lies. We were without internet for over a week, and of course they always want to blame the customers house wiring.
So today they sent a home tech and I told him to not even bother checking the house and pointed him to the box out in the yard. He tested the line at the street and it was dead. And that really sucks, because summer is when I use internet the most. We've called the repairman over to fix it 3 times! It works for about 2 days after he leaves, and then it starts crashing again.

I have Mediacom and it took me over 5 minutes to load this 1.5 minute video. Oh, and I was on the lowest possible quality setting of 240p. I do live in a rather large apartment building, but still, at 11:45 on a Wednesday night, I shouldn't have to wait anywhere CLOSE to 5 minutes to load a 1 minute video on the lowest quality setting. I had nothing else running in the background that would hog the Internet, either. Hurray for superfast Mediacom cable!!!

I've suffered with the Mediacom monopoly in my town for over six years now. Absolutely terrible. Constant Internet outages; they used to occur two or three times a month. They have now increased to every other day or so. Most last for a few minutes. However, the latest was from 8 am Mar 5 2011 until 3 pm Mar 6 2011: over 36 hours total. When I called to complain, the customer service rep said, "Only a national disaster would cause a service interruption of over 24 hours." Liar.

I'm a System Technician for Mediacom. A little input on this, it all depends on the wiring in your house. The service is good but what makes or breaks the way your service works is how well the in- house tech did his job. If u have any doubts, request a full rewire and if it doesn't work well after that, then it gets passed off to guys like me who are in the maintenance department to make sure the plant is running correctly.

I realize I live in one of those 'problem areas' but does that make me a less valuable customer? I have seen some corrupt companies in my life but i have to say none as bad as this mediacom online. I first experienced my problem the 2nd month in and continuing since. Recently Its been almost two months of them promising to fix the issue but they still haven't. my neighbors all have a decent internet connection but my house is dead and they refuse to fix the problem. I intend to call the BBB and if necessary I will sue their asses for wrongful advertising and improper business management.

I've been calling support in my area almost everyday and they say there is no problem. They schedule a tech, I get a call from my local office saying there is an area problem. I wish there was some competition in my area. I'd switch pretty quick. Had Mediacom for 4 years and the service goes down constantly, speeds have never been as advertised (not ever) and support @ the 800 number is clueless about area-wide problems. Worst cable company I've ever had.

I used to live in the Orlando area and thought Bright House was bad, now living in Pensacola I would kill to have Bright House back, Mediacom is by far the WORST cable company ever! They shut off my internet that doesn't work half the time every month saying I did not pay the bill when It is taken out directly and I can see it is because of my credit card statement. I have mediacom internet, and it never works, it constantly kicks me off. I have never talked to anyone that has had a good experience w/ them. Unfortunately, I live in an apartment and mediacom services are included in my rent, so I don't have a whole lot of choice in the matter. Last month, they billed me three times within a week w/ different amounts and all of them were wrong. I called twice, and they were no help, so i drove all the way to their office...basically, they suck!!

They ignore them, run rigorous test like going to speedtest, you know things that the customer can and in many cases probably already have done, and that's about it. It isn't about a service being 'perfect', it's about a service running and when it doesn't the provider should fix it. When the provider refuses to fix the fucking problem, bitching becomes a warning to would be buyers.

I've called a few times and been given the brush off by tech support with my internet connection. Why? Because "we only support Windows XP and higher" and "don't support USB." So if they find out you don't have ethernet and XP or higher, they won't help you, except to tell you to upgrade. Another time I had someone tell me that they only supported Internet Explorer. Anyone can work at tech support. just tell people to power cycle their modem, or send a technician out to their house. you don't need to know anything else about computers to work for media com. to be fair, many other times I've gotten somebody who actually knows something about computers and is happy to help, even spending as much as a half hour on the phone until I got things working. so it's totally hit and miss

A couple of years ago my internet was out for almost a month, it was really hard to get in touch with someone from mediacom, once we did and they scheduled a time to fix it, they wouldnt show up, when they did show up, they did a VERY half assed job, and went out again a couple months ago but luckily we had laptops this time, and our phones have completely stopped working.We are also scheduled to lose ABC and our local news. I've only been with Mediacom for about a month and a half and have already experienced problems. The guy speaks the truth! My cable went out the day after they installed it. Then they told me it could be up to a week before a tech could come fix it. I kept calling and they came after a day and a half and fixed it in about 2 minutes. A few days later the internet kept dropping. They told me to go buy a new cable splitter or wait a week for a tech to come fix that too. What a joke.

You might be having signal problems. If not, I believe they can escalate it to their phone partner, which is SPRINT. But that goes to network or system problems only. Yes, MC works with Sprint. So not all prob are from them. But if it's your dial tone that you're loosing...it's the connection&the signals..or lines or modem.

I used to work for mediacom as a tech and was fired for trying to give costumers quality installations, well mediacom want's techs to give quantity rather than quality. Also Mediacom came to my house and filed a police report against me and I was just recently charged with Cable Theft a class A misdomenor. I hate those fuckers on a level you could never imagine.

I just dislike their "Installations". Granted the cable is a little bit of a bitch to hook up. But goddamn, I had to wait 4 days so a technician could come to my house and "Install" my internet. I laughed so fucking hard at this; $10 so they could plug in a 5 ft. long Ethernet cord from my black box to the Ethernet port on my laptop, and then enter my account number into the web settings.I walked the goddamn technician through it! 10 minute job I had to wait 4 days on.

Yeah mediacom is horrible. They call me everyday to sell me phone but I don't want it. Their internet modems go bad and the download speed gets ridiculously slow...under 1mbps... which is around 10% of what they advertise.

I called them to set up a service call. They told me between 8AM-12PM Thursday. That morning while I was in the shower 7:32 AM the tech called with a blocked number, Caller ID said "Out of Area".... When I checked my message the tech said "This is Mediacom service tech, Since you did not answer we will have to reschedule your service, Call customer service"...I called them and they said I have to wait another week. Not my fault I was in the shower before 8AM.....Fuckerz!

Well for one when your internet on mediacom goes out it means your mediacom phone goes out. Our phone is hooked into a cable modem then it goes through cable lines. I only have had once that we lost service. I live in Dubuque,IA but im having second thoughts about mediacoms services nice video I think your totally right.

It does suck!
Internet is slow. I have never to get anywhere close to the advertised speeds. Phone service goes out twice a weak. Internet is unstable. One hour it is fast (but not that fast), the next hour it's really slow. Sometimes the internet doesn't work at all and when our internet is out, our phone goes too. When there is a little bit of rain or dark clouds, we get poor TV Signal, Horrible quality products. We have replaced the DVR 3 times in the past 3 years and the remote 7 times.

weve had it and its just as good as cable...we had dish network for about 7 yrs before just now swithcing back to cable

I am sorry you all are having such bad experiences. The technology that you have installed in your homes is pretty new, so I suspect that the installers that you had to hook you up probably did not know much about the types and amount of signal needed, let alone the quality of signal. On the surface, without being at your homes, I suspect a low signal issue. This is very common. If you go to my channel and give specific symptoms, I may be able to help. It's what I do every day! I agree. Mediacom's net would be down about 6 hours a day (from4-10 ) they get rid of 3 stations every month,but kept going up on the price. They charged my granny $98 for cable/net then hiked up to $172 for crap that wasnt workingand fewer channels. Digital would die about half a week. We switched over to CNS. ^^ No probs from them ^^

Thanks you !!!!so true, but I have the internet and cable which both SUCK!They are out at least 3-4 times a week and the customer service is NON-existent. IT rains ,the wind blows ,its out; 30 mins on hold They're working on it , it will be soon; but who's working on it? when are they going to START????!!!They always wait thru the weekend to start on a ticket. they are the most horrible service of anybody I've ever had cable or internet or phone with in GEORGIA!!!!! GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

Oh Yeah...we lived in mid-Illinois when we had Mediacom for phone, internet, AND cable TV. the TV was okay, but the other two, went out CONSTANTLY. Medicom sent out and replaced our cable modems 3 times...3 different modems...we finally just ended up having to reset the modem each time it decided to stop giving us access to the outside world as a whole...we have Comcast now that we live in the Chicago 'burbs, and barely have ANY issues.

Comcast in chicago rocks... hands down. I miss it... my mediacom is complete shit... I have a 150 kbps upload speed right now. how it can support VOIP with that upload is amazing... oh wait, it can't, my phone's not working...

I live in southern delaware and Mediacom sucked for a whole year! They broke my 5,000 dollar sprinkler system underground, and the internet went out 500 times this year. Now, mediacom is AWESOME!. I get 27Megs download, 2Megs upload! that kills comcast, and fios

We just got Mediacom about a week ago, and are already disapointed. I thought we were one of the only people having this problem. We got the bundle, with Phone, Internet, and Cable for one cost. The phone goes out at least 5 times a day, the internet goes out even more than that, plus, when the internet goes out, the phone does too! Also, the cable 'tiles' all the time, and when we call them to come fix it, they send some bum out who has no idea what he is doing.
