i have an AMD 6000+

2 gigs of ram i play grid at 1680*1050

2x AA and i get around 35-40 fps,,no way in hell that u get an average of 90 just becuz u have a quad core come on!!! i would accept it if u get like 10-15 fps more, but getting a difference of like 60 frames with every thing turned on! no no thats too much

i got the same card but i got a serious problem i cant get the 8.11verion of catalyst to install says inf file is missing and bunch of other stuff any idea what it might be ? (using vista primume 32bit)

That's some highass FPS..i'm on a Core 2 E7200 @ 3.4 GHZ and I get anywhere from 45-80fps at 1280x1024 with 2xAA and everything maxed out.

Guess this game is well optimized for quadcores, eh?

I have some problems with this game, I cant play high resoluion 1440*900 and i have a lot of aliasing, any ideas how to resolve this? :/

ps: i have hd4850 oc (710/1188) and the q6600 oc (3.2)

this cant be right .. with my 4850 im getting 30-40 fps on these settings with a 5600 X2 3ghz , 2gb DDR2 ram and a 4850 OC .. there is no way you get this fps =S

im running a 9850 phenom at 2.9 ghz, 4850, 4 gig ram, 650 watt psu and mine eats grid up in the same way this do's... my max is 140fps when overclocked, and when stock its max is 122fps.... their must be something wrong with your bro's pc, either that or the low fsb you get with intels is slowing it down compared to your amd, and yes technology wise the 4850 is actually better than the 8800ultra, along with 800 stream procesors its also has beter bandwidth

upgraded a little since my last comment, 940 phenom II black edition @3.6ghz, MSI K9a2 p, 4 gig 1066mhz, x2 hd 4850's, 750 watt psu, x2 wd 500gig... etc in an NZXT Tempest case

Im running version v1.2 of grid, and even with programs in the background and streaming to my 360 i get 120fps+

What mobo do you have?, are you running a 790fx chipset? how did you overclock your cpu?

even a 5600 X2 to a Q9450 and i will only get max of 15 fps increase probly .. minimum fps of 70 is just rubbish m8 .. come on .. my brother has a Q6600 , 3gb 1066 mhz ram and a 8800GTX and he gets lower fps than me in grid .. so dont go on about 70 minimum .. pff

.. you will probly photoshop it -_- .. my brothers Q6600, 8800GTX oced , 3gb best ram you can buy doesnt get anywhere near this fps either .. hes fps is lower than mine on GRID .. so are you saying that a 4850 that is about the same as a 8800ultra beats the 8800GTX by like 4x? give me a break ..

Boy r u one arrogant fella.. CPU has alot to do with a game's overall performance. No matter how good a GPU u got u simply need to have a powerful enough CPU to help it to its max potential.

I have the HD4850 and I get like 40 fps in GRID -_- something is wrong with my pc... I have the AMD 64 x2 4200 overclocked to 2.8 btw

Your cpu is the problem, try upgrading your cpu to Q9450 and overclock it to 3.2ghz like i did.

hmm. when i have the game's AA turned off and 8xAA forced through Catalyst, it doesn't apply at all. do you have 4x set in the game and 8x set in Catalyst? i know high AA isn't necessary in the game, but it would be nice in the menu areas.
