  • Wow, you're funny. Laughed my arse off. I have the same TRP and Springer's Lightweight Champion Operator. Great pistols. Your commentary is classic though.

  • oh also buy a few wilson combat mags.... and also get a few chip mcormic mag's and your not gonna have an issue with your mags or jams etc...

  • dont shoot rosie odonell, convert her from the dark side of the force, and make her work out and watch chick flicks.. get her manicures and pedicures.. and beauty treatments and lipo suction and face lifts etc.. next thing u know u got the perfect chick! a broad who thinks like a dude but looks like a chick! leave your window open1 and dont shoot the big fat nasty lesbian just give her some jedi training...

  • you actualy keep a gun on your dresser stuped

  • holy Fin SHHHH ... dude you are one funny mother fueker

  • @ilshockll thanks man

  • have you experienced any jams or malfunction with this gun? because i'm planning to buy a STS TRP also for self defense.

  • @gutadin5 the weapon is flawless. I am unsure how many rounds I have put through it, I never kept track. the only problem i ever had was with the springfield magazines, and it only jams up with them when you are actuating the slide and "riding it like a bus." you have to let it slam home (with those particular mags). all the springfield trp's and operator variations are good to go. get some good quality mags like wilson combat and you will be completely satisfied with your purchase.

  • @gutadin5 this is an amendment to my previous reply. if i had to do it all over again i would have bought the armory kote version. i am beginning to see some rust on the frame where my hands make contact, and i meticulously maintain my firearms even when they are not actively being shot. it might be something to consider. i am trying some new things to keep it rust free, and if i can't i might send it out to be refinished in armory kote or another surface material. hope this helps.

  • @gutadin5 - if your gonna get one for self defense get a Springfield Operator, I have the TRP and the Operator, with a Operator you get a tac rail and the green bodied version there is a Pachmayr grip also. The Operator is used by FBI's Swat Teams.

  • My frnd whats the width on the slide ?

  • @ikonik69 the slide width is about 7/8's of an inch. i do not have a caliper to accurately gauge it, so that is me "eye balling" it on a ruler

  • man bro she is a beauty i really like the armory kote too but i wonder how tuff it is ?

  • Kimber mags? Hell no! Get Wilson combat mags

  • @BarlowJ501 i agree that the wilson mags are excellent, but my LGS is a stocking kimber dealer, and all they sell are kimber magazines and I wanted to try something different. I never had a problem with them thus far, though time will tell.

  • "my luck rosie o'donnell will break into my house and ill have to put her down" LMFAO hahahahhahahah!

  • Waste of time

  • this guy is awesome

  • OK, :52 seconds into it and I can't watch anymore.

  • You need your own TV show on Outdoor Channel right after Shooting Gallery. Kind of likecrap a Howard Stern gun review.

  • @MrHalloweenboy haha thanks man. i get too many thumbs down on my videos, and on a weekly basis i have more people unsubscribe than subscribe to my channel so i don't know how popular that would be, lol! i don't know if that means i am doing something right or if i am doing something wrong.

  • That Little L shaped piece of metal, it's for the take down of the Mainspring housing. Thats because "There is NO Mainspring Cap Pin inside". It's to allegedly keep the cap from bursting out, however, I'm here to tell you that it wont (as long as you Gently ease the housing down), because I changed the Housing on mine to an Ed Brown housing. So, fear not, if ya ever wonder, because the way SA makes their spring & Cap, ya don't need one. Called to find out 4 myself, then tested it @ the range.

  • @caliber454 thank you man for that information, i did not know that and i appreciate that you took the time to type out that comment explaining it, because i had no idea lol. good comments like yours are few and far between on here, thanks again dude!

  • @TheBoxBreakChannel You're welcome my friend, thats what we're here for, to help each other out. Happy shooting!

  • hahah thats a funny line..."radiocative tritium glowing next to my head"

  • @23mrcowboys thanks man i love that stuff haha

  • Lmao "my luck Rosie oldonald will break in" but anyways very sweet 1911 and good vid

  • @Redrobbin1911 thanks dude its good to hear. i have recieved a lot of negative feedback on this video. i think the people that complain about gun ownership are the same people that don't have a sense of humor so i am SOL on this whole youtube thing.

  • How much was it?

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI right now they got for about $1,400 to $1,500 for the stainless and armory kote versions. the railed armory kote version with the adjustable night sights goes for about $1,600.

  • @TheBoxBreakChannel Sweet, its a very impressive gun. I absolutely love Springfield 1911's. I was thinking about this one because my local shop had one in stock but I honestly wanted to buy the Springfield "MC" Operator but my shop didn't have it in stock and couldn't order it. Hell no one could find it to order. I drove today about 2 hours to another town and I can't believe I found 1 so I had to buy it. I'll do a review on it tonight, it's a beautiful gun.

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI i was in the same situation, originally wanted the mc operator, went to multiple shops, no one had one, no one could order one. apparently springfield isnt the easiest company to order guns from, one shop owner told me they make it real hard for dealers because they have to commit to buying a certain amount of guns in a batch. anyway, one shop had this single trp, i knew what it was when i saw it, and bought it without hesitation.

  • @TheBoxBreakChannel Yeah, I put my review up on the MC operator. The dealers told me that Springfield only makes a certain quantity of their 1911's and they will only ship out a very limited number to dealers. I don't know if it's because they think people will get the impression they are so valuable and hard to find that they buy them on spot or what, but it's a dick move if you ask me.

  • sweet more dislikes than likes. i am going to have to start making more videos like this :) in all fairness i did warn you guys this was probably the worst gun review on the internet

  • easier to ask forgiveness than to ask for permission! bwahahahaha soo true :)

  • Pretty good review, very funny, the burping, farting and all. LOL... I laughed all the way through the video. I just bought a SA XD9 and will uploading a vid today. The screwed up thing about these springfield armory weapons is that they ARE NOT made in the US, the company is based here, but they are made in Croatia.... unreal... just learned that a few months back.. Take care bro..

    TGS

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER thanks dude :) the springfield xd's that are made in croatia are owned by a few of my friends and none of them have had any problems. different forums on the internet show similar positive feedback. the pistol should serve you well. i hear excellent things about the brazilian made springfield 1911s. i think only the operators and trps are made in the usa anymore. even though it feels good to support your fellow blue collar countrymen, it is a global economy that we live in.

  • @TechGunsSportsLOVER You have it wrong, the XD's are the only Springfields made in croatia, those and the XDm's. Some of Springfields lower end 1911s like the GI all the way to the range officer are made in brazil and assembled in the US. However, the TRP in this video and the Springfield Operators (like the one on my page) are all assembled and made in the US. The XD's were actually being made in Croatia and called the "HS2000" until Springfield bought them out and started importing them.

  • I'm still laughing at the Jessica Biel reference... good call! *thumbs up!* :)

  • @GhostriderRSA haha thanks i had know idea who she was until a couple of years ago a buddy at work told me i had to watch one of her movies. you should check out the movie "powder blue" -- she plays a stripper in it. i all ready know what you are going to ask and the answer is "yes, she does". :)

  • I just want the first 3-minutes of my life back before the unveiling.... holy shit...

Stunning handgun though, always wanted one. Springfield is good shit.

  • @GhostriderRSA holy shit? yeah thats what was flying out of my ass! ill try to work on my future reviews, i was talking to my subs in this video. youtube to me is like hanging out with a bunch of my buddies. anyway springfields are fantastic firearms, but it seems like alot of the 1911s are hard to find. thanks for the kind words and constructive criticism dude, its appreciated :)
