Gonzales gave a judgeship to Jay C. Bybee in exchange for writing a recommendation for torture; Bybee was given the judgeship for justifying war crimes! And when he did that, he got the judgeship!
Atty Gen Holder is using Bybees coerced memo as reason why he will not prosecute Bush-Cheney & CIA!
So in the White House, if you want to break the law, just bribe a lawyer to write you a letter saying it is OK!
USA gives tours of the crime scene, but no one is going to be arrested for the crime!
If this goes uninvestigated what kind of message does this send to the children? Hey Tommy.Eddie said he'd play the prisoner, you can be the jailor and I'll be Cheney, here's the rope I got a lighter. Hey Johnny Yoo! What'cha doin?Wanna play?
The phrase "enhanced interrogation practices" is the sort of doublespeak propaganda that George Orwell (author of "1984") could surely appreciate. It's amazing how this sort of sanitized verbiage is routinely splattered all over by government officials and politicians, then dutifully parroted by the corporate media. Lets just call it what it is: Torture.
Also, if Reagan and his administration was prosecuted for trading arms for hostages and not pardoned by Bush 41, then bush 43 and cheney might never have thought it could get away with its crimes.
Well there it is folks, maintain the status quo! (1:49 ) Specter, "If every administration started to re-examine what every prior administration did... uh, there would be no end to it." Actually, it would be the end to It! If Nixon had been prosecuted then we would not have had to endure Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz. Specter, "This is not... uh... Latin America." The word 'Latin" is optional. The only way change is going to come is by We The People calling for a general strike!

Correct. The best way to move forward is by looking to the past.

Bush Government may have committed crimes, but they had every right to. A lawyer said it was OK.

We gotta put pressure on these assholes, to uphold their oath of office and "defend the consitution."
