Basically I think that Zidane wouldnt have fared well up front because he didnt have the pace for it, secondly Ronaldo couldnt have done aswell in midfield because you couldnt really see him getting back to assist the team with his defensive duties. Also there is no evidence that his passing range was even good enough to play in that position. Overall Ronaldo was the best striker of his day by far, Zidane the Midfielder. They both played in those positions for a reason!!
