@ikolkyo967 No, it just didn't have its Head End Power Engine Running, which usually drowns out the sound of the prime mover. With the HEP generator off, you can hear the prime mover revving like you would on a GE freight loco.
Epic catch! You're kind of lucky to see this. They were originally going to put it on the Capitol Limited a couple days ago, but then they sent it back to the shops for a minor paint touch up, after which it was assigned to this train.
