bhai Sahib is good, the only problem is that he adds his own melody in the raag. I know this for a fact because his teacher told me this.

if you want to listen to great raagis, then listen to someone like Bhai Dharam Singh Zakhmi and his brother Bhai Shamsher Singh Zakhmi.

You are absolutly right !!!! I have a large of collection of Bhai Dharam Singh ji & Bhai Shamsher Singh Ji Zakhmi. Bhai Nirmal Singh ji have his own position, which is very very good. i like him. but Zakhmi Sahib Ji are Awesome !!!!!!! they are too great. it seems their keertan is coming from Sachkhand. i listen them in a fully quiet place. it is very very heavenly experience.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is not red, it is Majeethra colour, Panth Parvan colour. It is the tradition at Hazoor Sahib and Nanak Zhira where Guru Gobind Singh spent his last days. You get this colour when blood is mixed with soil/dust.
